I want to see good individual play and some young guys get better as the season moves along.
But I don't understand the point of being 5-11 rather than 1-15
Gave me some glimmers of hope for this team to show improvement. But the 2018 Giants are Saquon Barkley and a bunch of other guys. Time to build around him.

I started the season rooting that way. I never had any expectation of winning so I am not disappointed. I wanted to enjoy watching OBJ and Saquon and so far I've been able to do that somewhat.
When you are eliminated from play-off contention is silly, in baseball it's when you bring up players to see what you have for the future, now when we play Dallas or Wash. later in the year it will be hard to root for the loss but I will know it will be counterproductive to get a win and go 2-9 or some such.

I get the sentiment. I want them to have the #1 pick. But since how I root won’t influence what happens, I’ll root for them to play well and make an effort.
High picks can be a trap anyway if your not trading down in any case.
