apples is worse than the corn maze. #1 it's expensive and #2 you are doing all the work and you're paying them to let you do it.
I have refused apple picking the past couple years, so it's been great, my wife and kids do that on their own, come back and bake a ton of apple themed desserts (which as a non-sweets eater even I like).
Still as bad as this season might get, I'd rather watch 70's era Giants than go apple picking or to a corn maze.
I feel like that should be a deadwood era insult...."anyone who disagrees with me, goes apple picking or to corn mazes by choice"

Even more of a reason to go fishing instead. If it rains enough, you barely have to wash the boat.
