Many on this board did not want to give him an extension before the season started....
You are not many. You are actually one person. Everyone else (well 98% probably) said give him the extension as soon as he proved the ankle was sound.
I despise revisionist history.

That's not true at all. A fair number would have been happier if he had been traded away. Knowing that while great...he was not going to make this team better.
I supported the signing only in that I did not want to see it drag out. If the team had decided to pay him...they needed to do it and move on.
Trading away OBJ would be idiotic. It's funny how the same posters who wanted to trade away Beckham are the same ones who think St. Eli has no blame for this mess (goTerps withstanding)
Committed to Eli, and gave 60 mil guaranteed to OBJ.
He was effectively committed to Eli this season anyway. Listen....I think this OL is as good as can be expected considering what it is comprised of. It's a false narrative to say the Giants have ignored the OL. It simply has not worked out. So your pocket QB has spent the last 4 seasons getting mauled.
OBJ is a talented piece of shit. His extension was a massive mistake.

We just have too many high paid athletes on this team, not producing....
With 10 days before the next game, and on the heels of this disaster, he may go really dark now.

Wonder how many times Eli will be targeting OBJ in the future. More? I kind of doubt it.
