For those who are starting their 2019 Draft watch,Herbert is arguably the #1 QB prospect this season. I've watched him a number of games this year & he has everything we are missing at QB right now!
Right now, I would be very excited to draft him. I have seen him a couple of times and he looks like a top 5 pick to me.
Draft him and bring in some combination of:
Bobbie Massie or JuWaun James at RT
James Carpenter or Roger Saffold at G
Matt Paradis, Mitch Morse or Travis Swanson at C
It is not realistic to solve all three O-line positions with just free agency but getting two positions covered with the players above and a draft pick would be a step in the right direction.
