Too late to trade Eli (with his permission)?

Big Blue '56 : 10/12/2018 10:45 am
Not suggesting it, but in the proper circumstances, he could help a supposed contender (Jax?). If they’re going to go with KL for now, should they cut bait? A team would assume the prorated amount left on his contract, but that, I presume can be negotiated (?).

If there is an interested team, what could that bring in trade, iyo?

Teams have until Tuesday, Oct. 30 to make a trade, and 4 p.m. ET is the cut-off time to report a deal to the league office.

What say you?

I think he would get the same interest as Flowers.
Same interest as Flowers? Lol.

You hope.
We are not trading him..

it is not happening. He will just retire when it is over.

That being said, the Jags are having issues with Bortles and Tom is there.
Eli is untradeable with his contract

Get real. No team is taking on that salary and giving a pick.
Oh man....

....it's good that we can maintain some levity in these dark times...
Coughlin is not trading for Eli,

and if Francesa thinks so, he should re-retire.
Agree a trade would never happen

Not sure about the retiring next year if he’s cut, part. I could see Peyton and others urging him to go to another team and even making some phone calls to help things along.
Bortles

is significantly better than Eli at this point.
Bortles doesn’t play on this team

.
Bortles is not better than Eli

But anyone who thinks the Giants can trade Eli doesn't understand the business of the NFL.
I don't think there would have been a lot of interest in Eli
Mad Mike : 10/12/2018 1:52 pm : link
this past off-season. But however much there may have been, I think there is significantly less now. If a team thinks it needs a QB upgrade to win, I don't see it viewing Eli Manning as the answer. If it wants an experienced vet to keep a seat warm and mentor someone younger, I don't think it would give up anything material for that, especially with a big salary.
