Sure would be a lot more valuable if Dorgan posted more, although why would he subject himself to all that goes on around here, especially considering the deaf ears.
are desperate. He ain't going to help but I understand the move.
Guess so. After all, Gary M told us that Flats was fired "mostly because he could not get through to Flowers, which was a disgrace and sent an awful message."
That conversation in Jacksonville must have been hilarious "Hey Pat, I've got good news and bad news....".
flopped as OT in San Diego. Did okay for us at G last year. Now apparently doing well in Seattle. He'd be a good guy for Flowers to look at and see how you can salvage a career after being labeled a bust. Has to be encouraging for him that two former coaches Coughlin and Flaherty don't think he a hopeless cause.
TC had lots of input on draft picks. He was also a great coach who's time had come to move on from coaching - happens to everyone.
Also time to move on from Reese - but they both had great success in their time with the Giants.
What is also becoming apparent, is they still have not gotten the replacements right. Jury still out on new coach and GM, but early returns not looking promising.

And what, the Giants are just stacked with talent along their offensive line and can afford to just casually dismiss players from the team?
I think this is just exactly what it looks like on it's face, which is that whatever issues the Giants had with Flowers was not seen as disqualifying from the standpoint of Tom Coughlin and Flaherty, who have had more experience with him than anyone else.

I'm not sure what you are arguing about. They are desperate and took a flyer on a rejected player because they have lost two tackles. That's as far as I went with my statement. Any other meaning taken from what I wrote you assumed.
Flowers misses a block, gives up a sack, Bortles has season ending injury, Jags trade for Eli, they win a superbowl, Eli goes to the Hall of Fame, Giants get their future QB in the draft after tanking, draft extra oline with picks from Jag trade, everyone is happy. The End.
Oddly quiet from the "TC is an innocent victim" junta Â
Poor St. Tom.. Reese somehow forced Flowers on him again.
I hope this shuts down some of the incessant Tom good/Reese bad talk
Reese still sucked. Necessary move with Jags having lost two LT already this season. What other experienced LT were out there?
Flowers has experience you don't need.
No, this makes it obvious Coughlin and Flaherty were in on the Flowers pick, and Flaherty and Flowers' relationship was clearly not as bad as rumored. They clearly think they can salvage something.
So signing a tackle off the scrap heap because you've lost #1 AND #2 = drafting a guy ninth overall. I suppose Coughlin should have had the Jags line up with 10 men out of principal?
Fans living to troll their own fanbase really is the mark of a shit season.

Sure thing pal. It's not a forest. It's just trees.
This is going to be a fun thread lol.

Right? So much for Flowers being forced upon TC.

who now according to some makes all the decisions in Jacksonville?

Jags are on their 3rd LT with injuries...flowers pickup has nothing to do with if he was forced onto TC
