if the guy who cited the stat wanted to include them, but as we have learned, if playoff games are included the Patriots are at best 36 - 1. And I think both Brady and Edelman played in the Ravens game in 2009. So at best, I think this would be 36 - 2 with post-season games.
Not undefeated, but still remarkable and goes a little way to dispelling the "patriots have an easy division, that's why they're good" myth.
I was in the pool with my kids and my youngest and I were playing a game with this giant beach ball. The beach ball was one of those 4 feet beach balls and it would absolutely fly when you hit - like 100 feet in the air. it's fun to play with in the pool, we'd see how many times we could hit it back and forth volleyball style without either of us missing it or it going out of the pool.
At one point I said, hang on it's lost some air and I'm going to fill it up again. My daughter asked me why that matters. I said with less air you can grip the ball better making it easier to catch, it's sort of cheating.
And she said, oh, you mean like the Patriots did?
LOL, my 11 year old. Makes me proud. first off all that she understood and was able to relate it to deflategate, and the smirk on her face when she said it.
anyway, cool story bro, but yeah, I did think it was cool.
...which ultimately set in motion the series of events that led to Bill Belichick assuming the role of GM/HC of the New York Giants.
Jets - 28
Patriots - 21

Probably the person meant to say regular season. I don't believe there are any playoff games in here.

Wasn't it rumored he might play some defensive back that game due to injuries?
It's a nice made up stat.....I mean, it's like the one where no team that's lost to Tampa has won the SB (still in effect??)
And playoff games, to me, should be part of the equation.

Am I being obtuse again?

Giants are an NFC team.
Why are Jets fans here? I could see if the Jets were playing the giants this week, but otherwise i have no idea.
