Eagles took downfield away effectively and the Giants line had issues with a conventional pass rush. The Eagles made sure Beckham didn't beat them but left Barkley alone. If you try and stop 2 great talents you stop neither of them. Pick one and build your gameplan around that.

Shurmur and Shula have worked out a game plan that they will stick to based on their analysis of the other teams defense. They are going to those plays and their ability to change and adjust is missing the mark most of the time in more than half the games. A rebuild of this magnitude is tough to do in the first year. Hoping it gets better with time. Don't give up yet.

No need to fear. it is reality. This OL is real bad. Maybe when Eli goes into shot gun he should stand back like punters do. Maybe it will give him one more second to throw. Seriously sometimes it is like OL is made out of paper.

The same way BB did in XXV. They drop more players into coverage and dare us to beat them with the short game. Whether it be running or underneath passes. And the sad part is they are still getting pressure.

I’m actually surprised Shurmur hasn’t pulled Eli aside and basically said what the OP suggests, just go all Rex Grossman and chuck it deep. At least on third down. Gets picked and it’s the equivalent of a punt. Oddly enough we actually have an opportunity to be the most dangerous team in the league. A team where there is no tomorrow. We could make risky decisions on every damn set of downs because we aren’t going anywhere and have nothing to lose. So I agree, let’s release the Fucking Kraken.

Seriously they can stop the run and rush Eli with just 3 guys sometimes.
