I see the Raiders have already been shopping Karl Joseph and Amari Cooper.
Who are some players you think DG may part with? It'd be nice to get some draft picks. Right now, we only have a 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and two sevenths (one from the Ogletree trade and one from the Brett Jones trade).
I would think Jackrabbit would probably be the most notable name who could be traded.
Plus, he's likely to command a decent haul now. Just not sure what the cap implications of moving him might be.
👍
I'd like to keep Hernandez as well
Hes up for a big deal and I honestly dont think the Giants should be shelling out anymore big 2nd contracts until the QB position is settled.

Honestly, there's not a single player outside of Saquon that I wouldn't trade right now if the return was good enough.

Yup - good call. I would also keep Big Willy.
I mentioned the other day and the details about trading Vernon. I don't think he sees next year in Blue. At $15.5M for next year, he would have to transform into LT. So we either release him and take the dead cap hit or we look to trade him before the deadline and get something for him. JPP yielded a third rounder with a shitty contract and 7 fingers. I wouldn't consider anything less for Vernon.
If they could get a 2nd for Snacks then I would strongly consider it. Tomlinson and Hill are keepers and I like what I have seen from Mario Edwards at DE.

I think youre undervaluing Collins as a trade asset.
I hadn't thought about trading Snacks but now that I think about it, he's being wasted right now.

Vernon could very well take a straight pay cut to stay. On the open market he's not likely to get anywhere near his current contract, and avoiding the dead money and having to find a replacement for the Giants is an incentive.
You're trading guys who are older, and who won't be part of the team (or playing at a high enough level) by the time they've turned it around, hopefully 2 years from now.
Ugh. We're that bad a team now, it's going to take 3 fucking years for a halfway decent season.
And also that pesky part where it's actually financially impossible.

Everyone that isn't Barkley should be on the block. Won't happen though because the front office has an unrealistic view of where this organization is.

There's a difference between trading everyone and putting everyone on the block.
Maybe they dont. Just because they said some things in July about winning now doesnt mean they truly believe this to be true. And really other than the solder move the other fa signings or trades were pretty low key. And we absolutely had to get a LT rebuild or not.

What players actually don't have accelerated guaranteed money that the Giants could absorb right now?
Vernon I dont really see the point of trading away the only pass rusher on the team. The Giants should be trying to accumulate rushers, not dump them.
Snacks his cap hit isnt that bad and he should be part of the solution, not a fire sale candidate.
Collins if they cant agree to a deal then trading him is a possibility. Not sure how realistic of a possibility given where hes at in his rookie deal. Hell most likely get a 3rd round comp pick if he walks and I doubt a team would give up more than that.

+1
Agreed.
...Saquon Barkley is tradeable.
Especially Jack Rabitt, OBJ, Snacks and Collins.
If we could get rid of these four and bring in:
Three 1s
Two 2s
One 3
I would sell them all.

Keep in mind that the accelerated hit of un-prorated signing bonuses would be offset by 10/16 of the current year salary which the acquiring team would take on.
Harrison actually only has 3.6M of unamortized signing bonus left. His current year salary is 7.75M. If the Giants traded him this week, it would probably be about cap neutral (if you assume that the player replacing him on the 53-man is making near the league minimum)
