My understanding is that its essentially a two year deal. According to Pat Traina, if the Giants want out of the deal after that, they'll save $9 million in 2020 and $14 million in 2021.

My understanding is that its essentially a two year deal. According to Pat Traina, if the Giants want out of the deal after that, they'll save $9 million in 2020 and $14 million in 2021.
They'd also eat 8M in dead money and have to find a replacement. It's a 3 year deal in all likelihood.

Hell, if the RG was a JAG we'd probably have a better line. He's been horrendous and one of the major reasons that this line has sucked so bad. Center is another position of great need as Greco has also not been great there.
The transition would be easy for Wheeler and Omameh, but Solder and Wheeler have played exclusively on the left side throughout their college and pro careers (as far as I know, it's possible Solder played some on the right side) and I don't think the bye week is enough time to adjust.
