id love it so much if you did that. ive never met you and dont even recognize your handle and id be way more interested in this game than any of the last few Giants games.

Rodgers gets obliterated 2nd snap of the game, doesn't wake up until 10 pm.......Karl's chin would be Hungus.
That said, if I'm a Packers fan, his tenure would leave me a bit unsatisfied right now. He's an all time great & only has 1 Super Bowl. They've left titles on the table.

You can blame McCarthy for that, he’s an abysmal GM and a suspect HC.

Agreed. Bad defense and poor o-line play/running game for the most of his tenure.
Not to turn this into an Eli bashing or general Giants bashing thread, but to me the deficiencies are more glaring when you watch OTHER games even moreso than when you watch the Giants games. Its just more athletic, energetic, younger feeling.

Agreed totally.
You think Karl made his bet? We havent heard from him in a while. He might be boiling his pets right now.

I think Rodgers has had enough of a team to appear in more than one SB considering who he is.

I think this is a philosophical thing a lot of these teams have.
They see their franchise QB and they believe he can overcome everything from poor o-line play, to a lack of running game, to poor defense.
The Packers have been incredibly poorly coached and lacking in overall talent for years with the idea that Rodgers alone can take them there.
This will end just live Favre's tenure. A feeling of that more should have been won.

If the Packers guy on the hands team would have caught the onside kick, they would have been in another SB.
Peyton Manning Colts teams. Rodgers has basically had no running game and suspect TEs almost his entire career. Of all the star QBs over the past 20 years I think it’s clear he’s had the least talent to work with.
Is a different player than Peyton Manning. Packers for the most part have chosen a lack of run game. Rodgers and McCarthy love to throw the ball to a fault at times
And misthrow in the red zone on a quick pass, poor throw in the EZ on fourth down, all plays Eli would be killed for, not being mobile.
People watch these games to see how mobile QBs affect the game. Others like myself watch to see these QBs able to do only so much. Rodgers is an extraordinary player too

You think people here should care enough about the Packers to be criticizing Rodgers?
When he makes plays that give them a reason to show Eli in a poor light. Aaron, unfortunately, hasn’t been making those plays. He could use better protection and more accuracy on his short throws. All things Eli is absolutely killed for.

I agree with this. His WR corps have been pretty good. Driver, Jennings, Nelson, Adams, Cobb...
But I don’t remember anything at TE or a threat of a pass catching RB.
I digress, but I'm REALLY sick and tired of all the commentators trying to tell viewers how great a player is, or how they're one of the 'best in the nfl'...
Just stick to the facts, asshole.
Combined with the shit rules and officiating, I'm really starting to sour a touch on this whole league.
RE: I can't fucking stand that hyper ass knob schlobbing announcer guy Â

Yep. Calls were always a bit tricky tack but this season is the first time I could honestly say officiating is ruining the NFL.

Officiating has been horrible since Peyton Manning demanded the NFL change the rules. Now it's so arbitrary it might as well be the NBA.
With 6 seconds left, I think McCarthy and Rodgers Â
wanted to run 3 seconds off the clock so there wouldn't be time for a kickoff after the field goal. Rodgers just tossed the pass straight out of bounds.
Last drive should never have happened. Worst illegal contact call I’ve seen in a while, especially considering the circumstances. Go from 3rd & 15 to 1st and 10 in the final minute of a tied game? Really? The refs want to insert themselves as a deciding factor with that call at that time?
I agree with others that the officiating is putting a sour taste in my mouth with these games more often than not. I used to come away from games just once in a while thinking “there was that one bad call but man what a great game” ... now it’s pretyy much every other game that I’m saying “good game but with all those horrrendous calls the entire game should have been different and the whole product just feels tainted and amateur.”
Unless you see something blatant that late in a game, just let the damn thing go and let them fight it out in OT. I was disappointed that the announcers clearly refrained from saying anything negative about the officiating all game so as to protect the NFL and the dwindling MNF brand. Just call it like you see it.
Not nearly enough of a big deal is being made about the horse shit Â
3rd and 15 penalty. Once again a call that should have not have been made directly changes the outcome of the game. Rodgers sacked and they call a foul on what happens every tie a receiver comes off the line and quite possible still within the 5 yard bump zone.
You cannot watch these games anymore unless you are okay with referees basically being Whammies from Press Your Luck.
"Rodgers is sacked... 4 & 17.... Nope stopped on a Whammie..... 1st down!!!!"
You ain't kidding. On one knee, this guy is making bullet 30-yard backshoulder throws that only his guy can catch. The one throw to Adams is legit "only I can make this throw" territory. Plus he's doing this with one good receiver.
to those who never played the position. But Rodger's must have one of the strongest wrists ever (save the jokes...). The way he just flicks the ball with such velocity and strength is something only a few guys in the history can so. His accuracy and arm strength on regular throws is unbelivable. But some of the throws where he just flicks it just has that WOW factor.
Rodgers is the best QB ever. I would take him over anyone I've ever watched/seen. Marino, Favre, Montana, Peyton, Brees, Brady... all of them are/have had incredible careers and were/are amazing. But Rodgers just has the most incredible skillset. He's just fucking awesome. I could watch that guy sling it all day.

its him or Brady for me. I know people say Brady has Belichick. But you still gotta make the throws. And the guy has done it in every facet. Its really close for me.

Sure seems like the illegal contact thing is called WAY WAY WAY more often on 3rd and longs instead of run of the mill 2nd and 8s or whatnot. It's ALWAYS on a critical play. Ruining the game.
Rodgers gets obliterated 2nd snap of the game, doesn't wake up until 10 pm.......Karl's chin would be Hungus.
So GO...er....CJ Beathard?
I want to see more of the big WR Scantling. I think the Packers found a late round gem here.
They need to stop wasting touches on Williams. Jones is far superior as a runner. Use him as the hammer and work Montgomery in on passing downs.
Need at least two more tds from beathard and Breida. How about beathard to breida
You can blame McCarthy for that, he’s an abysmal GM and a suspect HC.
Agreed. Bad defense and poor o-line play/running game for the most of his tenure.
He let it go inside the 5 yard line, and the guy caught it behind the 5 yard line. So it's a lateral.
Agreed totally.

Tru dat
I admit I now watch non-Giants games comparing QB mobility and how it affects things.
Put him in Brady’s shoes or Montana. That’s a talent upgrade and they probably win more.
From that standpoint, the Giants averaging less the 20 is throwback to the old days!
I thought that too a few weeks ago.
But he has a great gig...an elevatedseat on the sidelines that moves to the LOS.
I tend to agree, but a receiver was like 2 yards away.

WTF is that guy trying to say?
He would have dumped it off for a wobbly 3 yard completion on 3rd and 13.
He's clearly washed up. They should cut him and trade for Bridgewater
I agree with this. His WR corps have been pretty good. Driver, Jennings, Nelson, Adams, Cobb...

Come on.
I was there freezing in those bleacher seats and still wondering that shit to this day.
Don’t think he could have stepped into it.
Fucking joke.
Great game going on here.
Rodgers though. Awesome.
Again
The 49ers just lost in a total NY Giants fashion
Ego
That's what happens when you play a "bend then break" type D in the final minute of the game
That’s great football.
Nothing to see there.
They have talent. No threat for the #1 pick even with Beathard at QB.
Relax. We have the #1 pick wrapped up.
Nothing to see there.
And in a few weeks after that on MNF, we have Giants and 49ers.
We all may as well find something else to do on those nights folks...
Nothing to see there.
Barkley draws some viewers

LOL...I am always one to say don't start counting your wins based on the schedule ahead.
But in this case, don't start counting your LOSSES based on the schedule.
I think the Giants are going to win a few more games, and not be in the #1 spot.
