NFT: NFT- Daughter accepted to Disney College Program - Advice?

BBI - anyone had a kid complete the Disney college program? My 20yo Sophomore daughter was just accepted to DCP and will be there 1/14 to mid May 2019..

I've been reading a lot... Googling a lot... Seems like a great experience and a nice resume boost...

wondering if anyone here has actually done this or had a family member do DCP... Guess I'm looking for tips, what to expect, etc...

Did the program in �94. Great experience for me, even better than college was. Great friends that I�m still close with now. Obviously it�s been a while, but here to answer any questions, still live in Orlando. Shoot me an email harnovo@aol.com

First stay hydrated it might not be as bad as summer time but the sun down here will bite you in the ass rather quickly.

Also if you have time one night you should check out one of the dinner shows might want to do that ASAP if you are interested. Medieval times, Capone�s, and pirate adventure are very good. Some Kids actually are picked and take part in the pirate one.

complete it more recently. Every single one seems/seemed to love it. Like, really obsessed with it. I guess that's how people with Disney are though. One of them actually was offered a position to work at one of the parks and so they moved to Orlando this summer.

I can't really offer more insight then that, but on the outside everyone who's done it loves it.

Anak- DCP is a program where a student gets to take a few classes at Disney while working for them for short money. they also live in Disney properties and rent comes directly out of their check. It is in high demand... for example (and my numbers may be off) for next Spring there were 14,000 applicants and only 900 accepted. It is a big resume booster

Hoodie - I hear the same thing... almost everyone who gets accepted and does it loves it... and yes they are fanatics
