and give credit where it is due levert hit a prayer 3 and that was a tough shot he hit to win it
Robinson may not be 100% yet but I agree we need him. Also given the rebounding disadvantage. We're playing three guards and a small forward most of the time - the C has to be a real rebounder. Vonleh is good but he is another forward.

i also think trier should be the back up point...
i dont mind vonleh playing center but baker and trier can not be the back court, you need your guards to rebound when you play that small
In kurucs the 2nd round rookie
Long good shooter- aggressive— 11 and 6 last night
Biggest question for the nets will be if russel shows enough to resign—- my guess is no but it’s a long season- he has to shoot above 40 from 3 to be starter caliber and he’s not there
Allen is scary good for his age and 1yr development
Yes they are. I saw you mentioned the Nets could win 38 games or so - seemed like a high number for a team without a fourth quarter "closer," but maybe LeVert will be that guy.

The biggest thing for nets this year will be making the right choices beyond Levert/Allen. Decisions on Dinwiddie, Russell, and RHJ could all go either way. Russell has the most scoring potential on the team but Dinwiddie has produced better in the pg role and is a better athlete/defender. To me RHJ is an easier decision just based on $ value vs. his injury risk. Starting PG is a tough call.
Minutes keep getting tougher to find too. Kurocs being ready to play and forcing his way into minutes is an unexpected surprise. Carroll being out may be kind of a blessing in disguise.
And you get 10 plus points with same defense
Maybe less passing
Sure but beyond those 2, RHJ and Crabbe are going to grab a lot of those minutes as soon as they are healthy. I'd guess the first healthy starting lineup settles into Russell - Levert - Crabbe - RHJ - Allen. With Davis/Faried/Kurocs/Harris (and Dudley/Carroll when healthy) fighting it out for front court minutes beyond them.

He just keeps getting worse and worse - he had some decent moments here and there as a rookie, and it's been downhill ever since.
I didn't watch last night, but I did watch a good bit of the Hawks' game. Ron Baker really sucks on defense (too). It's one thing if you're not naturally gifted or athletic, it's another if you have that disadvantage and you don't really stick your nose in your opponent's jersey and stick to him like glue. Not only can Baker not move or slide with whomever he's guarding, he just gives it up and finds himself all alone, out of the play entirely. His PT should really be in question.
Or the “flagrant” foul
I was wondering about that too.

Absolutely. And Rin Baker should be next to Lance Thomas on the end of the bench

Given the rebound discrepancy, it really couldnt have hurt.
they wouldnof just run a pick and roll to get the switch..
Knicks were +19 on turnovers but Nets were +19 on rebounds. We need Robinson and eventually KP to get more size up front.
Celts lost at Toronto tonight and they both played.

Baker plays too much. Why not give Dotson some minutes? I think he’s back to the bench once Lee returns.
- That flagrant call was awful.
- Even though he played well, Hardaway kills you on defense and poor shots/decisions.

also ball was clearly out on russell
However I was shocked to see Tim Hardaway guarding him and not Frank.
