up? Need to see that before saying it's a good trade for both teams.
I see it now. sorry. Yes, 5th round pick is a good trade for JAX. Not sure it's a good trade for CLE, but he was definitely blocking Chubb so that makes space for Hue to "get Chubb some more carries"
He was a Hail Mary. It’s clear they are concerned about Fournette and they can’t allow he window to a title close based on 1 players health. They really need the ball out of Bortles hands and dominate TOP.
Health a legitmate issue, but he produces when healthy.
I think with Jax he produces. He's a legit power back. Wasn't ideal in Shanahan zone blocking offense. Dunno about Browns, but it appears Jax is even more appropriate for him.
I thought he was having a good season. He’s a physical runner and has a nose for the endzone. Chubb May be “ready” but Hyde is a proven commodity and rarely can a team make it through a season with 1 good RB. I guess they like Duke Johnson. I think I may be the only one who doesn’t think this is an even trade, 5th rounder? I guess I think higher if Hyde than most. That’s fine, it’s not a hill I’m going to die on, I’m just going by what I know/have seen
Is I have him in my flex spot this week and if it had happened yesterday i would have gone with Emmanuel Sanders instead. Sanders of course had to play on thurs and put up 23 pts. Now I have to play freaking Kenyan Drake instead. I know I know- cry me a river. A lot of money in this league though and I’m in 1st place so stakes are high.
Huh? Have you seen Chubbs highlights? He's the better back.
You comparing highlights? Hyde has way more highlights.
Hyde has over 120carries vs Chubbs 14 carries.
If this was really the case, it would still make more sense to let Chubb play at least 1full game before making that statement
Hyde was traded because he’s been underwhelming and they invested a high pick in a better player. They are also clearing Hyde’s contract which at the time I thought was a good deal but it’s clear that he won’t live up to it.
They are cutting bait, getting a pick back and giving more carries to the far more dynamic player.

Congratulations on getting him with your waiver claim. I wanted him too but not for $45
Dropped him the prior day and needed to reverse that bad luck, haha. At this point in the season I can’t really see a better opportunity arising so I just went for it.

I was pissed off that he was on waivers vs a free agent. I think I heard the news the moment it happened and immediately checked.
FYI... I would have traded for him the day before.

Heh. Beavis. You said grabbed chubb.
Quote:
Grabbed chubb in one league and Duke Johnson in 2 others where I'm starving for a RB (chubb was gone in both).

Yeah he said he grabbed Johnson also!
Charles is a shell of himself.
Finally get the payoff.
Not exactly true.
When healthy a good RB.

Me too. Drafted him in the 10th round, if I want to keep him next year, he will cost me an 8th rounder. Of course let's see how he does first.
No, they knew the rookie was a better player and cleared the deck for him

I guess browns threw in the towel for the season
