Herbert thread is what it is.
Daniel Jones on now. Down 14-0 to UVA. He is plagied by drops, but just threw a deep ball into double coverage which led to a pick. Had a very nice run for the 1st on 3rd and 11.
Finley with 16 NC State v. 3 Clemson at 3:30 might be the game of the day.
Lock w/ Mizzou v. Memphis at 4
Of course Herbert plays tonight.
Yea not a great decision. If he had a playmaker like Herbert has in Mitchell I would have been okay with it.
You can tell Duke just doesnt have quality at the skill positions to allow Jones to make plays
Yikes!
I don’t think inaccurate means what you think it does

Herbert looks inaccurate, I'm liking Finley and Will Grier more but let's see after tonight

Maybe he meant his post was inaccurate?
Herbert 62% completions vs Will Grier 71% completions.
Grier looks better to me on the eye test

Will Grier on the other hand? He's inaccurately portrayed as a 1dt round prospect.

Maybe inaccurate was the wrong stat to be critical of for Grier. But he certainly hangs on to the far too long to the tune of 12 sacks the last two weeks from habging to the ball too long.
Jones with a rifle pass down the sideline for a TD out of halftine. 14-7 VA. Quick decision, got it to the receiver in stride and made the throw look easy.

Grier plays in a more QB friendly system and is throwing to better players. Oregon maybe has one WR and a bunch of RB's. Seen Herbert being victimized by more drops than a QB at a program like Oregon should have to deal with. I liked Grier more earlier on, but watching him lately he really does not have an internal clock of where the pass rush is (that can be good because he won't throw it away thinking he is under pressure when he isn't, but too often it just means he is taking sacks)
Honestly. The guy has dropped some beautiful passes in his WRs hands and they just drop them time after time.
Indeed he is very VERY cool throughout all of this. Doesnt get frustrated. Very Eli like and he makes great decisions when he runs for it.
This would be two comebacks in a row right?
NEEEEEEEEVER MIND
Maybe if they let him throw it on another down other the 3rd we could actually know what he can do.
Same shit coach. It’s amazing how pathetic of an offense he runs year in and year out.
THROW THE BALL ON FIRST FUCKING DOWN JUST ONE TIME!!!
He can’t get fired soon enough.

Facts
Why risk chucking it when u can grind it out with that defense.
Yea I didnt get the "outcoaching Harbaugh" thing. He has completely controlled this game in the second.

They got control of the game by throwing it.
I was just going to post about that lollipop out he threw and almost had picked. I wouldnt say "very week", but he doesnt gun throws like he should.

Very weak. Fuck me.
November 24 looking like a de facto play in game
Don't forget the Irish!
Literally none of the QBs have done shit so far today. Although Jones' receivers dropped a ton of balls.

and maybe Clemson.

Agreed. Also, if we get a loss from Clemson or OSU, Michigan would be a tough matchup for Bama in my opinion. They run the ball very well and have a carnivorous defense. Plus Patterson hasmade some plays.
Could be fun.
