NFT: Anyone slept on a cotton futon before?

Having a ton of back pain, thinking of swapping the mattress. Some of our Asian friend in jersey recommended a full cotton style Japanese mattress https://www.bedandwood.com/futons/ which is apparently good for pains.. anyone have any experience? its a steep price to pay

I would hesitate to buy something I haven’t tried and can’t return.

What are you sleeping on now, and how old is it? If it’s old or cheap, a new quality mattress with good support should provide a big improvement regardless of type.

Thanks Jim.. its the standard bed in box for now. Totally agree on your no-return, thats what scares me

doesn't matter for you. Try one out for a night or three and see for yourself.

I don't recommend a steady diet of it -- they get tired after a while -- and they get lumpy too - and the lumps are hard
I wouldn’t say I’ve slept on one.
