Coughlin's Jag's melting down in Locker Room

BigBlueDownTheShore : 10/21/2018 4:46 pm
Is Tom to blame for the toxic team environment he created, or do the apologists give him a pass for this as well?

Jags just briefly opened up the doors to the locker room before shutting them. Calais Campbell was holding back Yannick Ngakoue, who threw off Campbell. Lots of yelling coming from the room.

We were just told we could go into the Jaguars locker room. Then as the doors opened and we waited, we could see and hear clearing a very heated agreement going on with players in the locker room. We were told to come back out and wait.

TC gets lauded as a golden god by some BBIers when JAX is winning, but now it is all going to hell and TC apparently has nothing to do with the team for some here.

not surprising, but funny nonetheless.
Did Flowers start today?

You know, I would rather have a team that wasnt expected to contend for a SB just play like dogshit and start thinking about the draft than a team lile the Jags (and us last year) who had so much problems and then the wheels come completely off.

It’s the common denominator, so therefore logical.

Not sure you can throw this at Coughlins feet. He doesn’t coach the team.

Didn't you know? Coughlin is never to blame for the bad stuff but always solely responsible for any success, just like in NY.

I don't blame TC for a locker room meltdown anymore than I gave him too much credit for the team's success.

Did Coughlin buy the Jags?

Just like when they were winning and he got too much credit, when they're losing he doesn't deserve much blame.

joeinpa : 10/21/2018 5:24 pm : link
That actually is a very good point. Coughlin is not in the locker room, but gets credit for Jags turn around last year.

Tom not in locker room gets absolved fit Jags melt down this season.

I m certain if they regain their composure and winning ways, Tom not in the locker room will get the credit

2 parcells
2 coughlin

One of these coaches looked to cheat on the giants with every turn. One of them also eventually did leave the giants high n dry. Same guy by the way.

Parcells was an asshole. Great coach though.
Gonna go with Doug Marone .

No one here every “sainted” coughlin. It’s just that some of us appreciate what he did for this franchise and how he carried himself here. It’s not my fault this place can’t meet in the middle and some fans act like fucking idiots when discussing the legacy of a former nyg head coach. Sainted? Two Super Bowls!!! Deal with it. Why this bothers some of you I’ll never know. Don’t worry the tuna is still safe. He too will always be cherished for his great legacy here. But he was an asshole. Make no mistake.

This is why I posted this. Coughlin gets all the credit for the JAX turn around last year, and doesn't take any of the blame for when things go wrong.

It's definitely somewhere in between and I love him for what he did for the Giants.

It's just very strange how he is never at fault. Reese and Coughlin helped make decisions on at least every 1st and 2nd round draft pick. Yet, I bet all the Coughlin can't do wrong guys still think it's 100% Reese's fault.

It was everyone's fault.

While I in now way put this on TC, but the point is spot on. TC was getting credit for the great season last year by many on here, so you can’t now pulll the “he’s not the coach” card if you were crediting him with all of last year’s success.

they've got some issues and they are 3-4 still in the running for their division. They've got their bye next week then Fournette comes back; they'll get it straightened out.

We, having followed all of the prescriptions cherished by morons like the OP, are out of it mid-October. Rather than be humbled by their stupidity, the parade it proudly by starting threads like this.

Nope, the prevailing notion on BBI right now is that Reese didn't win those Superbowls - EA and DG won them, and in fact, Reese kept us from winning 4-5 Superbowls.
