Why root for a loss? It’s not as though how you think will have any effect upon what actually happens, so it’s dumb to root for anything other than a win.
They've won 4 of their last 22 games. They're going to win 2 in a row? I'll be shocked if they give up less than 35 points tonight. I'll be shocked if they score more than 24 tonight.
...and lose enough to comfortably miss the playoffs early on.
Which, would be the worst thing that could happen to this team. Doesn't matter where you think the problems are, being eliminated from the playoffs early and winning a string of games against bad teams will only serve to repeat the cycle of shitty football we've been experiencing for years now - it'll artificially inflate the FO's opinion of where they are, and drop us in draft order to reduce the chances of getting blue chip players.
and I'll be doubly shocked if the Giants bead Washington - given the Giants inability to deal with pressure on the line -- all teams have to do is load up on the line and launch on Eli to win
The Giants are making average teams look excellent.
Unless this OL change is actually a true "fix" and the O starts clicking big time they lose.
Jenkins can't cover Julio. Period. He couldn't cover Jeffrey. Atlanta is going for 30+ points tonight unless we can control the tempo of the game.
AND IF A MIRACLE OCCURS then let's see this team go for 2 in a row.
In my opinion, the giants aren't the worst team in the league over a 16 game schedule. Oakland apparently is trying to lose. Buffalo is very bad. And San Fran has been ravaged by injuries.
I see the Giants picking 4th. They will still get a great player, and if they turn it around and win a few games then we can enjoy that and stop finding other things to keep us busy while attempting not to vomit watching the giants play.
Many on this board would implode
"...the Giants will hang onto the top pick for a third week running..."
The duck most likely is going back to college to play with his little bro
Scrap and get a win
I hate being in the basement
I spit my coffee out. Sad, yet I laughed.

As the Eagles are to us, we are to the Skins
I dont think this is the draft for QBs anyway. Just win as much as possible.

Highly doubt it. Don’t care what the stories say. He’s a top 3 pick if not number 1. We heard the same song and dance last year

So is Sam Darnold
Me neither but I can root for Oakland and Denver to win.

Easy to say that in October.
