Sources on @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium: Initial timetable on New York Knicks rookie Kevin Knox: 2-to-4 weeks. Knox injured his left ankle tonight.
but I was thinking based on Dan's comment about the Bucks being a top 3 seed who I think the top 3 will be. It really sucks that it's 3 of the other 4 teams in our division... At least it seems unlikely that Kawhi makes it past this year in Toronto but who knows with him.
The NBA royally fucked up this Lakers situation. Ingram needed 10 games. Rondo needed at least 8 and CP at least 5. What a disgusting act by all.
And one other thing. I fucking LOATHE CP3. Could never win a big series if it mattered. Hurt again last year. The tough guy acts wears thin. That Rockets team is probably one of the most despisable teams ever. Maybe worse than the Bad Boys from Detroit.

i know what shams said, and i just posted what begely said...
as we know all too well, but Clarence Gaines and Jeannie Buss can go screw themselves. Jax turned out to be a disaster, no amount of acting like trolls on twitter or wherever changes that

Kevin Knox wont travel with the Knicks on their two-game road trip and will be re-evaluated in a week, the team said. He sprained his left ankle last night, which was confirmed by an MRI today.
confirmed he plans to sign with Boston and acknowledged the Knicks were on his short list before making that decision.
Who gives a shit. Nothing to do with you Dan. But this is just another case of a star being linked or interested and nothing happening. Watch it happen again with KD this summer.

he basically said knicks heavily considered because of being from jersey, kp and wanting to play for fizdale but said there is no reason to leave a talented team in boston..

to be honest im glad. Kyrie doesn't look completely cooked. But the injuries have taken a seriously tole on him and I would be very concerned about giving him a super max deal into his 30's.
Durant/Kawhi/Klay/Middleton I would give the bank to (not that there is a great likelihood any of them come but we can dream

Knicks were considered. Gotcha. Pretty much gonna be the same story for KD. "Coulda played with the Unicorn and under Fiz. But I got 4 other all-stars here in GS with me. I'm good"
-Hired Derek Fisher as head coach and Kurt Rambis
-Promoted Kurt Rambis to head coach
-Hired Jeff Hornacek as head coach
-Tried to instill the archaic Triangle Offense without the proper personnel
-Joakim Noah- 4 years, 72 million
-Melo- 120+ million dollar extension (later publically bashing him leaving little trade value)
He was fired days before the free agency period officially opened - I bet he had an agreement in principle with Baker that Mills decided to honor. Hornacek liked him, too.

You missed the biggest mistake. It wasn't giving Melo a huge extension, it was the NTC.
RE: I have a feeling the Ron Baker contract was also Phil's doing.

That's reaching. You don't need to honor a contract with a subpar player once the person responsible is no longer in that position. Mills is shit on a stick too. His first two moves once Phil was gone was to give Baker a contract no other team would have given him, and then overpay for Hardaway.

Mills was trying to curry favor with ownership and if the Dolan family likes Baker, he might have felt compelled to honor
RE: RE: RE: I have a feeling the Ron Baker contract was also Phil's doing.
if the Knicks decided to honor a contract that no one else would have given Ron Baker (2 years, 9 million.. with a no trade clause essentially). If they decided to not revisit that verbal agreement they had because they are scared of Ron Bakers agent, then they are even more stupid than I thought.

It is not just about this agent's other clients. The pool of agents is not that large. If you screw with one, all will know about it. Good luck trying to get a deal done if they don't trust a verbal

This is New York. I doubt this is it how it would go down.
KDs Agent: "Hey KD, Knicks want to sign you, give you top dollar. The Mecca, the Garden, all of that. But I would advise caution because they went back on their verbal agreement with Ron fkin Baker"
KD: "Who?"
KDs Agent: "Ron Baker, shot maker, cant trader."
KD: "They did Ronnie Bakes like that? Yeah I'm signing elsewhere"
He just seemed like a such a "Phil" player, but Mills is more than capable of giving out an awful contract. Either way, Ronnie will be gone soon enough.
When you lose Ron Baker, you've lost middle America.

Not saying you're lying, but where did you see that at? That would be news to me.
I wouldn't be surprised if it got worse once they realized what Porzingis was,or what they think he'll be.
Kinda like a "We'll take it from here Phil, thanks"

Every team that has been stuck with Rambis has been awful unless they had the talent to overcome him.
I agree. We did. Two days ago. Against the Knicks. He doesn't look like a max player to me.
KD or bust. Anthony Davis or bust. But I think Chicago might actually have the best shot at landing Davis.
The guy made one right move and a million bad ones. He couldnt have done a worse job if he tried.
21 points
4.5 rebounds
6.5 assists
All off the bench. Just give the man the 6th player of year award and comeback player of the year award.
I don't agree with the wording
When I think of piss poor,I think of what we're currently looking at,and all the possibilities.
