When I was stationed in Hawaii however many years back. My ship just got off a 6 month deployment. My buddy and I were driving down to Waikiki to hit up the bar scene. He was the driver.
It was the first time we heard Black Eyed Peas song "I got a feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night". He turned it up, thinking he was gonna get lucky with some tourist. 4 hours later he gets his first DUI. He now hates that song.
We are a dangerous, shitty team, if that makes sense. Sure, we are every bit 1-5. But unlike last year, we have almost all our weapons on the field tonight, for the first time.
It will still come down to our line play. But if for the love of god we can block and give Eli 2 seconds, literally, we have a shot. The key is to not go down early. That's when guys give up

It didn't last long though, after we nearly fumbled the opening kick, then promptly threw a pick, and then allowed Wentz to escape on 3rd down for a quick 7.

I understand our O-line blows, but to me if we try to establish the run by being more balanced, it would really help the O-line out in pass protection, by keeping the defense honest.

regarding this team anymore. I have no feeling, only expecting to get our asses kicked tonight based on recent night game performances and overall MNF history.

Given how low we are attempts wise, it's clearly game planning to throw first to open the run and use Barkley. My guess is that how teams are bracketing Odell, we are coming out firing to keep them in it in order to get the run going and our passing game is just horrible right now. We're passing to set up the run and the pass isn't working so I think we should go back to being run first, draw down the box and then take shots deep. I think we're game planning and play calling backwards.
improvements in all 3 phases of the game (fundamentals). For those not paying attention we have gone from a feared reputable competitor in regular and postseason to a joke we a merry go around of incompetence and malcontents. And that includes ownership. What ever happened pride, instead of a paydays, kneeling, and highlight reels? This team needs to make hard decisions as it is not personal but about results. Collect your money in the NFL and then move along to your post NFL career.

Agree. The bracketing of Odell should open up the run game a bit. I really don't care if we have a bunch of runs for nothing, because eventually Saquon will pull some magic and make something happen and the 8 man boxes should follow.

Why did Christian Mccaffrey summon the spirit of Jim Brown and suddenly become a fierce in between the tackles runner against us??
some of that is drafting and our scouting and decision makers not respecting the speed and athleticism of guys coming in from NCAA. Before comment, realize that we also do not know how to draft properly and it has been broken for many years. We are at bottom with talent, talent evaluation, and we have some old guy selecting talent and and over the hill QB. Not good.
Except the Giants are the team that everyone "gets right" against.
