I think what it is, is a lot of people still remember the Giants flipping a switch in 2011 heading into the end of the year and because of the nature of the two Super Bowl runs, I think there are fans who kind of feel like... well, the unexpected is always possible. So, they hold out hope for a sudden turnaround or keep thinking it can flip.
But those teams compared to this one are night and day. This team is so, so far away from the 07 team and the 2018 version of Eli couldn't shine the shoes of the 2011 version.
This football team literally cannot even handle simple fundamentals. They can't block, they don't wrap up and tackle, the foundation is fucking broken and this football team is awful.
They're much more likely to give up 34+ than score anywhere near that tonight.
but still in control of their own destiny thanks to the mediocrity of the NFC East.
I'm drinking the blue kool-aid. I have a good feeling about tonight's game. I also think they win, get us feeling better about ourselves and then have a complete stinker next week at home vs the Skins.
Eli will have a performance similar to the game vs Houston, where he played well in a dome vs a poor secondary.
