Our 2018 FA class

FA class hasn't worked out. On the other hand his draft class has been outstanding.

The worst one was Omameh instead of retaining Fluker. The 3 keys to DG's approach is old school: Run the ball, Stop the run, Rush the passer. Omameh is not a good Guard: Fluker at least is a road grader and can move people.

Solder was a necessary evil. Maybe they could have traded for somebody.

Stewart was wasted money.

Martin has been average. Mauro TBD. Webb average.

The worst signing on defense has to be Riley. He is so late to react. No instincts.

DG had a nice draft. The free agent signings have been underwhelming.

He was the #2 pick, how can you go wrong? It was a no brainer...

2. #34 Will Hernandez G Texas-El Paso

His stock fell after last night, again...

3. #66 Lorenzo Carter LB Georgia

and we already used a #3 pick next year, on a DB that has a history of shoulder problems...

BJ Hill has been good and Carter has flashed.

KL not being the #2 is a coaches decision at the beginning of the year, its not like they compete each week for the spot. It has no indication on his ability.

And Barkley, Will H (yes he whiffs, but he is also outstanding on other plays. AKA A ROOKIE!!! FROM UTEP!!!)
Zo & BJ are all home runs.

Take off the blinders. I stopped "staring at Eli" weeks ago and started watching our team. "take your eye of the ball" - Pat Kirwin book, will do you wonders.

If you watch our team differently now that our season is over, which I started to do 3 weeks ago, you'll see the talent flash of the keeps we have on our team. Those are Zo, Will H, BJ Hill, Obj, Barkley, Rhett H (with a paycut), Tai Davis even flashes. There is talent on this team. Our Kicker is a stud. We have a ton of rebuilding to do, but we have some gems. DG's 1st draft back blows away 7-8 previous drafts.

The FA signings are his responsibility, right?

Agree, Carter and Hill show promise. Hernandez had a tough night, but has been an upgrade at LG. Not concerned about him.

have both been outstanding. They should be considered slam dunks especially considering that we haven't had a 3rd round pick work out in like over a decade (minus Manningham)

Should not count as failures.

I don't see where Carter's flashed. So far, the only one I'd say is worthy of credit there is Hill. The first two picks were essentially so high it's hard to fuck them up. Hill was picked 69th overall, and he's done well comparatively speaking.

But FA was awful. Not bad, awful - and it was expensive. After trading away JPP and freeing up cap space going forward, pissing it away like that was a sin.

stop ruining a good story (draft picks stink) with facts. It's annoying and not at all entertaining... Stick to the template:
