this & Sixers Pistons on NBA Network. BTW, Blake Griffin dominating. He's already got 20 plus with 4 & change left in the 2nd. Arena half empty. DEEEEEEEETROOIIIIIITTTTTT BASKETTTTTTBALLLLLLL!
is an awesome World Series match-up and these are two teams that ran up scores on their opponents all season. The Dodgers were better than their record.
If I weren't a Yankees fan, I'd love watching this Sox team. Their players are versatile and athletic and they have a legit ace in Sale and other guys who have been lights out at various points.
I'm hoping Chris Taylor continues to have big postseason moments.
Then all of a sudden there's a Red Sox Nation after the 2004 season. The team hardly existed to these mouthbreathers before that.
Then suddenly overnight every Masshole has a Red Sox bumper sticker on their 1997 Honda Accord.
They sold out every game for a decade starting early in 2003.
There are nearly 5 million people in the Boston area. They should be selling out that 35,000 seat shitbox every night regardless of the obvious bandwagon jumping.

I’ve been a Red Sox fan since I started watching sports. Until a few years ago, I could still name the starting lineup for the ‘67 Impossible Dream team which is my first real year of memory. I root for them as much and as hard as I do the Giants. Generalizations are simplistic and invariably fraught with errors.

That makes no sense. How often should a team with 20 million people in the area sell out?

Please. We all know you're a true fan. But there is no denying the size of the Bandwagon.
and shut down starter! The 2013-2015 version of myself would have thought this to be as unlikely as - I don't even know, can't even think of an apt analogy.
Tired of them always having great coaches! this is a good example of having good Coaches! Like I said before Cora must have been the difference? Can't explain why this team has improved completely overall. Everyone in that team has been playing like all-stars this season??! How?? Cora.

He doesn't suck. He's below average in the field and a decent hitter. Nothing special but he does not suck. Besides the ball boy could hit one out at Fenway given a meatball....

Amen
Meanwhile the Sox is killing teams with clutch hitting and grinding out AB's.
Seriously
Maybe be unpopular here, but rooting for the Sawx. Confession Saturday...Bless me Father for I have sinned.
Good start and a free Taco at Taco smell tomorrow as Betts stole 2nd.
And boom goes the dynamite
Couldn't name a player on the Pats pre-Bledsoe.

Unreal.
2012 all over again. Johnny Gomes might as well show up and hit a 3 run homer
Also that was some kind of overmanaging by Roberts there
Did you have a stroke?
Are you ok?
We're worried about you.
He was prepared for that at bat and put on a great swing.
You could give Stanton the heads up that pitch was coming and he'd still swing over it every time.
