that you've ever witnessed? At a 71% completion percentage, to boot. Inside a dome, no wind. Receiver adjustments to inaccurate and underthrown passes. A lot of yards left on the field.
If they didn’t score 6 points on 3 red zone trips in first half.
Yeah, maybe they should, I don't know, try a goal line set? And I don't know, run to Barkley or do a pa pass out of a heavy set like every other team has done in football for 50 years.
399 yards at 71% behind that sieve of an offensive line Â
But in several games he’s run up a lot of his passing yards in garbage time when the opposing defense is sitting back in deeper coverage to prevent the deep ball.
Eli hit a couple deep balls late anyway to OBJ and Shepard, but his stats are not telling the whole story. His high completion percentage is coming largely from so many short dump offs earlier in games
the past two years. You are late to the party. And the posters who still defend Eli are blind homers living in fantasy. "If he had a OL and more receivers and a TE and a defense.....' he could still win
We have people coming out of the woodwork to bury this guy every week for missed throws. A career 60% thrower is close to 70% on the season and now we're jumping on him for inaccurate balls. We get it, he's likely done after this year. But I can't wait for the "I saw X running open while I was drinking beer on my couch" crowd to move on.
RE: 399 yards at 71% behind that sieve of an offensive line Â
Not at all, but it felt like pulling teeth. 399 wasn't good enough to win the game, but maybe 420 wins it if he hits on a few throws? I was actually shocked at how long the passes hung in the air with little velocity...indoors.
I'm ok with Eli being our guy in 2019, while mentoring our next QB... but it is what it is...I wonder if he has knee problems or something...how can someone be that immobile?
Statistically, Eli had a very good game, and he made a lot of great plays to give the Giants a chance at the end.
He also couldn’t get the ball downfield consistently early on, which kept us from sustaining drives, and we whiffed in the red zone until already down 20-6. We had our usual fill of 3rd down completions short of the sticks too.
Of course it’s a combo of shitty pass blocking, unproductive running game, and seemed like some miscommunication on routes with receivers at times too. But it’s fair to say it wasn’t a great game for Eli, despite gaudy stats.
IMO Eli’s performance was once again somewhere between where the “Eli sucks” crowd and the “its everyone else’s fault but Eli” crowd says it was.
With the stats he’s putting up you would be as happy as a pig in shit. I know his time is coming but until we draft a top prospect I’m glad he is starting. BTW our line sucks worse.

and yet, you found the time to post a comment. I was wondering who the first asshole would be... Thanks for playing!

You have become a raging idiot

We had 3 different drives with 50+ yard completions in each, and walked away with a field goal and a last second TD.

What part do you disagree with instead of attacking me personally like a juvenile?
