Lets have a frank talk about Connor. He has been great this year but what do you expect next week when Bell comes back? Do you think it will be a timeshare? Will Bell take back his primary role?
I have the following rbs in a non ppr: Cook, Connor, Drake, Ingram and Doug Martin. I want to trade for a better Kelce or a better #2 wr. The team that has Kelce has only 3 good backs Barkley, K Johnson and Murray.
Who would you trade for Kelce? Cook or Connor? Cook comes back after next week (week 10 bye). We start 2 rbs, 2wr 1 te and flex.
Thanks in advance.
He has to or he loses this year of service and can be tagged again next year.
I don’t think it’s a guarantee that Bell comes back this season. Likely, but certainly not a guarantee.
Ben at Baltimore
Ekeler at Seattle
Kerryon at Minny
Hopkins at Denver
Cooper vs. tennesee
Cooks at NO
Evans at Carolina
Butker and KC defense at Cleveland
One fucking player has a home game and its my worst one. Going up against the first place guy too. No reason even to get excited.
Regarding that trade. I don't think the other guy would even consider moving Kelce for one of your backs, nor does he need to. Who is his other TE?
Whether he plays though, and how much, is a total different story.
The Steelers are a principled franchise to an extent, so I can see Tomlin viewing it as Conner is going to be here for the long run (or immediate future at least), Bell is as good as gone, so F-him let's give Conner the meaningful carries.
But...winning games is important, so if Bell is there and in uniform he's going to play.
Just I don't think anyone other than Tomlin and Fichtner know the role Bell will play.
Conner has been good, give Bell a feature back role, or maybe even a significant time share could be viewed as a slap in the fact to Conner.
They actually dont need him. If Conner is effective, I would not upset that chemistry. Let Bell ride the bench and collect his money. Bell does not realize that other clubs see his shit and dont want any part of it at the price tag he is asking for.
I added Conner for free and he has been great but my other RBs are Gurley Gordon Mack Kerryon Johnson Collins and Ekeler and my WRs were horrible after Adams (John Brown Amari Cooper Corey Davis).
Did I make the right move? I really wanted to win the title with Conner it's been so fun having him but I had to think logically that there's a chance Bell takes some passing down work in the fantasy playoffs (Weeks 13-16).
Plus if Adams were to get hurt I would be screwed at WR.
Now I can start Mack or Kerryon or even Collins with his great playoff schedule.
Mack in his 2 games back has been Conner-esque.
I was thinking about keeping Conner with Gurley and Gordon and just having a 3 headed monster forever.
Now I will just stick with Gurley Gordon Adams and trade Julio for a pick.
Debating the same but with Aaron Jones.
And also not sure do I go with boom or bust Goodwin or golladay in Minnesota...
Alternatively I have the cowboys against TEN...

I’m in the same boat, don’t know what to do

He does seem turnover prone, based only on preseason snaps, but does Oakland have anyone on def who can take advantage??
Exactly
Icon, what do you think of Kittle now??

Oakland is really bad and their defense sucks.

*Uconn....
I would give up Hilton and Yeldon
I could go Njoku, but will probably stick with Kittle. Thanks
I would give up Hilton and Yeldon
Yes, I would do that in a heart beat.

I agree
I'm currently dead last in record/points at 2-6, so even winning out wouldn't likely get me a playoff spot.
1st trade, sent Julio and Dalvin Cook (my 1st and 2nd round picks) + my 2019 8th rounder for a 2019 2nd rounder.
2nd trade, sent Jarvis Landry, Dion Lewis (both won't be kept) + 9th rounder for Aaron Jones + 6th rounder.
Both trades were made with playoff teams, so I targeted even round picks to get back since they would be early picks in those rounds.
