Hes got a nice shot and seems to have solid court awareness. Obviously you dont want him playing big minutes, especially on a good team, but he could be a spark off the bench. Hell never be a defender so just block that out of your mind.
I don't think he'll ever become some great point guard, though I hope I'm wrong. Also, he absolutely needs to get more consistent with his three point shot, but he's only 20. I agree that if he doesn't develop a consistent three by the end of his current contract then maybe the Knicks look for someone better, but claiming he is expendable now seems to completely discount his defense.
and I'll be right back on the bandwagon. However, his handle OR his shot has to improve significantly. Preferably both, but at least one of them.
Knox, KP and Robinson will have big roles in the front court, and the Knicks will have a top five pick and max space to add to the back court. Trier and Dotson are carving out roles. For better or worse, Timmy will be here and playing through the end of next year. Frank will have to keep up with the Joneses.
I see a lot of comments on Franks offensive game. My question is was he drafted to be a defensive PG who dishes out assists? He is very young maybe his offense improves. Would love to see the Knicks start winning again.
Didn't understand taking Kanter out of the game midway through the 4th
dont qorry refs will give wizards a 5 point play somehow

Tim Hardaway is now shooting 1-for-7. He's in the top-10 in field goal attempts in the NBA but has the worst shooting percentage in that group.

what a troll comment
1 team allowed to play physical the other is not difference in game
Hell yeah!
Kanter on Wall. Lol
they will never win anything and are capped out for years..
I'm a Frank fan, but given the emergence of Trier AND Dotson, I would not view him as some untouchable player if we were offered good value for him.

But Frank is a PG. Neither Trier and Dotson are.

To be fair he got hurt which obviously was bothering him

3-7 puts us on a 25-win pace, and we're still playing competitively and developing some talented young guys along the way.

If Fizdale keeps with his plan of trying different lineup combinations for five game stints next game should see another shuffle.
