Tickets 30th December v Dallas

LDRover : 11/6/2018 5:53 pm
Hi fellas, first time poster from the UK here so go easy on me!!
Myself and my family are travelling to NY for the new year and were hoping to take in the Giants v Cowboys game on 30th December at Met Life. Unfortunately tickets to buy in advance are $88 dollars each minimum and that is sat up with the Gods!! What I want to know is if it is worth waiting until we get there to get the tickets at a lower price? I can't imagine the game will sell out as it's looking like a dead rubber as neither team looks set for the playoffs.
Any help and advice is much appreciated. Thanks.
Wait for a couple more losses

and season ticket holders will pay you instead.
Honestly, I'd skip the Giants

Go to the Pinstripe Bowl on 12/27 at Yankee Stadium. That way you get to see awesome college football in one of the most famous stadiums in the world. Plus, it's easier to get to, way cheaper and you'll probably have more fun in that atmosphere. MetLife will be absolutely crawling with obnoxious, drunk, ugly and rude Cowboys fans.
yes

wait until at the earliest a few days before. Tickets will be had for peanuts on stubhub
I can cope with obnoxious cowboys, I've been to Manchester United!!

Thanks guys but only arrive on 28th. I know the football on show won't be up to much and , honestly, the cowboys fans can be no worse than Manchester United fsns over here so I can cope with that. Never been to NFL game in the US and possibly will never get the chance again so I assume tickets will be easy enough to get hold of? What kind of price?
As for the cowboys, how the hell does Garrett keep his job season after season?
It is highly likely to be Eli Manning's last game in a Giants uniform.

I have to imagine that no matter what, he starts that last game so tickets might actually get a slight bump, similar to David Wright's game as a Met.

where in UK are you from? I'm Kent.

I have been to two games at Metlife, the skins game this season and the eagles home win 2 years ago. I got nothing close to 88 dollars for a ticket, was about 135 cheapest seats up in the sky.

Sucks that it will be a meaningless game for you, but it is always sweet to beat the cowboys and you might be seeing Eli's last ever home game, so plenty to still look forward to
If it is Eli's last game, and it is known to be so

Giants fans with tickets better show up and honor this man. He's given all of us enough glory to go around twice.

Get to the damn game. Stand every time he takes the field, and show the general some love.

The Cowboys are 3-5.
If they are 5-10 in the last game do you really think they would have that many fans?

I'm from Blackburn in Lancashire mate. Going to hang fire and get tickets while I'm over there.
The Cowboys tickets

are the only tickets that will make money for any of the season ticket holders.
Wait to last minute

I know Blackburn, I'm a Gillingham fan and you signed Bradley Dack off of us, was up your neck of the woods earlier this year for Accrington Stanley away.

Hope you have a blast at the game though, it's great to go just to see the stadium and witness the tailgating. Hopefully beat the cowboys too.
Gills
LDRover : 11/8/2018 2:54 pm : link
Ha ha, one of my sons old teachers was a Gills fan called Armishaw, he lives up here and was at Ewood for the QPR game last week with some friends.

Dacky is quality, a bit of a rogue but somr player probably a yard of pace away from being Prem quality. Accy Stanley though - what a dump.
