At-large Aaron Rouse and incumbent John Moss won the two open seats, defeating four other candidates. Moss, a longtime conservative voice on the council, was deadlocked with Dee Oliver for much of the night. He ended up winning by roughly 350 votes. Rouse is a retired National Football League player who has a nonprofit called Rouse’s House. "It will be good to have more diversity on our council to serve the people," he said of his win Tuesday. "The people spoke." |

Can't blame Aaron for that. He was picked up off of mid-season to replace Kenny Phillips after he went to the IR.
That whole safety situation was absolutely terrible at the time and took forever to get figured out.
We can't blame him for being an atrocious player??
