My daughter is looking for one believing it will give best camera for the value.

It would need to be unlocked and usable in Canada

but I've had one for about a year after using Samsung previously and it is the best phone I've ever had. easy to use, long battery life, never glitchy. I love it.

from is a relatively pain-free experience. I've done it a couple of times.

The original Pixel XL runs under $200 right now. I bought one for my wife a few months back and I think I paid about $225 for it. It was in great condition.

Pixel 2 XL starts around $360.

Check out the site, it's pretty good and has a lot of options.
I have the Pixel 2 XL

the camera is very good. The phone runs the latest software (Pie). This version has implemented background app management which increased the life of the battery significantly. Love this phone, it should last quite a while.
I'm still using the original Pixel

Great camera, no issues, no glitches and a long battery life. I haven't upgraded because there is no reason to.

I wouldn't hesitate to get the pixel 2 if I had to.
I've had one for almost a year...

And it's the best phone I've had so far. The camera is very good. That being said, the last camera update has FUBARd the camera flash and makes it unusable. They need to fix that glitch asap.
you can still get the pixel 2

from the google store. It's an unlocked phone. That is your best route if you want a new one. With the pixel 3 out, its cheaper than when it first went on sale but still not cheaper than getting a used one.
Thanks everyone
