On Ingram and Michel, I think Ingram has a safer floor. As a Michel owner myself, I really am wondering if Belichek is going to work Michel in slowly. Patterson looked pretty good for them and I don't think his work is just going to vanish. I think Michel's carries are going to be limited in the 12-15 range, and so I think you bench him this week just to see how Belichek and McDaniels are going to divvy the workload up in his first game back. I am keeping Michel on my bench for this week, but I fully understand I could get burned by this decision.

I really like Ridley this week. Denzel Ward is banged up with a hip. You might think that this would be a Julio vs Ward matchup. But typically, Ward lines up on the left side of the defense, where Ridley lines up, Julio typically lines up on the left side of the offense. Ward is questionable after logging two limited practices.

I would go with Ridley vs a less than 100% Ward, or if Ward follows Julio across the field, I like Ridley vs Travis Carrie. That is one banged up secondary for Cleveland right now and although Ingram probably has a safe floor around 6 or 7 points with some upside on the road in Cincinatti, I like Ridley to make a few big plays to impact that game. I like Ridley's upside much more than Ingram's and Michel's and I think the two ball-carriers have significantly more downside.

Someone dumped Trey burton, clearly I'm going to put in a claim but which guy would you drop? Sell low on engram or the unknown on Herndon now that mccown may start going back to their WRs more?

Was leaning that way... Just questioned giving up a guy in a non ppr who has scored TDs in two of his last three. Meanwhile engram gets little attention and has the dropsies still. I do like engrams matchuo this week though

Yes. Cook is injury prone and even though you'd be heavy on the crappy Giants offense, you're fine after the trade with your other depth

In non-PPR it's not the steal it would otherwise be, but it's still a good deal. Only thing that would give me pause is that come playoff time (weeks 15 and 16 for me), Cook is up against Miami and Detroit and Hilton is inside his home dome for those games. Breida and Cook are both struggling through injuries, so I guess that part of it is a wash.

p.s.--In related news, I'm thinking of making a trade offer of Tate and Golladay for Cook and Landry. It's a 12-team PPR league and my other receivers are OBJ, Kupp, Lockett, and Humpries; my RBs being Gurley, Cohen, Lindsay, and Breida. Would it be more fair if I made it Tate, Golladay, and Breida for Cook and Landry? Or just make it Tate and Golladay for Landry?

My main target is Landry and he's on a bye next week so I figure that makes it more likely his owner is open to a deal. I don't really need Cook, but like I said above, he does have good matchups weeks 15 and 16.

Actually PJ, I think it's ok but I think the potential is that Cook is going to be the best player in that deal. I get it, he hasn't been great this year because of injury, but he's healthy now and is enjoying another week of rest with the Minnesota bye, I kind of like Cook. I think he's by far the better RB over Breida, and OBJ is certainly an upgrade over Hilton, but not to the degree that Cook is over Breida. In full-point PPR I'd feel a little better about that trade, but I don't think it's the slam-dunk others do, either. It's really about your gut because Cook when healthy is a stud. Do you think that OBJ is going to outproduce Hilton enough to make this trade? DO you think Breida is going to give you enough to offset from Cook?

If you think Cook is going to give you McCaffrey like numbers or better after the bye, I don't think you can do that deal.

Did I panic and weeken my team? At the time of the trade I thought I was strengthening my overall roster, and if Bell doesn’t even return, having a starting TE like Gronk down the stretch tightens up my overall team.

I think it was a smart move for someone with an 8-1 record. You didn't weaken your "starting" team for the playoffs and you may have strengthened it a great deal depending on Bell's and Gronk's status those weeks. And you gave yourself insurance for Connor (should Bell return to his starting job). If Gronk winds up on IR, Engram vs Reed is a toss-up (especially given Reed's injury history). Newton has great matchups come playoff time, but it's not like you would start him over Mahomes. And I don't trust Newton no matter who he is facing. So I like the trade. No need for buyer remorse.
