How awesome would it be to read this about the Giants

Next Season?

Another pick or 2 on the OL and a new coach?

I really wanted Braden Smith in round 2

I am happy with Hernandez but Smith is more versatile. See what happens when you use early picks on the right offensive linemen.

It’s even more infuriating how long it’s been to field an even average line here. Those 2 lines were just as bad, if not worse, than the NYG over the last few years. We’re still 3-4 players away.
the key is selecting the "right" lineman

its not for a lack of spending premium picks. We have, we just have spent the premium picks on the wrong guys.

Flowers and Pugh were 1st rounders
Richburg was a 2nd rounder
Hernandez is a early 2nd rounder (too early to tell on him)
Paid huge money for a sound LT that has been horrible here.

Its not for a lack of investing into the offensive line, we just have a knack for investing in the wrong guys.

Exactly, The Colts used 1st round picks on C Kelly, G Nelson, and LT Costanzo plus 2nd's on Braden Smith, and Jack Mewhort. Mewhort had to retire due to injuries but he was a very good player when healthy.

Add the Bills to that list if their game yesterday against the jests was for real. Their line was also as bad or worse than ours after 2 of last years starters left. They already have had 2 quarterbacks injured this season. But they looked awesome yesterday opening holes for McCoy and the other running backs and protecting Barkley.

they mentioned Mark Glowinski...

I had him in class when he was in HS. Great kid.

That was just the Jets. Pretty sure the Bills OL has been terrible this season.
I think the myth
dep026 : 11/12/2018 12:44 pm : link
that the Seahawks and Colts have bad OLs can go out the door.

Seahawks are still pretty wretched in pass protection but they can run the ball. Something I hope the Giants start doing better since we have an awesome back.
