He achieved worldwide fame when Disney bought Marvel, but those of us who are old enough remember the characters he bought to life in the 60's. His characters had real personalities and he told real stories. Spiderman, The Fantastic Four as well as supporting characters such as Robbie Robertson, Captain and Gwen Stacey were unique in the comic book world. They weren't simply flawless heroes but realistic characters that all had their own flaws. At the time I thought it was amazing that one individual could create this many unique characters and tell compelling stories about them.

Here is a trivia question in his memory: Name a non-Marvel movie in which Stan Lee appeared in.
Just saw his usual cameo in Ant-man and the Wasp

What a creative mind to come up with those characters. He should have died a billionaire.

RIP Mr. Lee.
His greatest contribution
since1925 : 11/12/2018 11:56 pm : link
"No secret identities"" changed comics forever.

Ironically, his biggest and most popular character was Peter Parker.
Big Hero 6 came to mind when I asked that question
Ron from Ninerland : 11/13/2018 6:43 am : link
Ironically its a super hero movie, and Stan's role was bigger than the usual cameo. It was released under the Walt Disney Studio label, not Marvel and Stan had nothing to do with writing or producing it.
