I'm happy for him personally that he got to drive the team to a win, but unfortunately I think the Giants just lost out on the #1 pick and their potential long-term QB answer.

Unless Oakland can somehow put together a couple of wins....which I don't see anytime soon.

We were going to get the ball into the end zone no matter what on that drive.

With the extra week of rest and a poor opponent, Eli did what he had to, led the team to a win, and bought himself a week of good will.

I think he kinda proved both sides of this debate right tonight. At times showed he can’t make all the plays he used to make, but also showed he can make enough big time plays to win.

We all know he’s done soon, but it’s nice seeing him pull one out and smile after.

Yes, the penalty exchange ended up in our favor and helped the last drive. But Eli also showed he can still get it done when the blocking is there.

But he's not the future of this franchise, he will never win another playoff game with us ... so what's the point of this thread ?

I assume you mean the underthrown ball to OBJ. Watched it again. Nose tackle collapsed the pocket. That throw was all arm. Couldn’t step into it.

have a play or two where it seems the winner got a break. The Giants certainly haven't gotten many this year.

That pass interference was the type of call that's been going against the Giants. It does not detract from the win or Eli's winning drive.

are serious ingrates. People should have more respect. It's absolutely sickening. Eli is the best QB we've ever had and just because the media is filled up with vultures doesn't mean our fanbase should follow suit. I believe that the more the line improves the more Eli makes sense. The more the play calling improves the more Eli makes sense. He is not the reason we have been losing.
