"Outside of his two super bowl runs, Eli Manning has never made the playoffs." Absolutely classic, brilliant quote Booger. Please enlighten us all with your deep insight and wisdom.
Then it gets even better, after he says this, the other announcers have to correct him, letting him know that Eli Manning made the playoffs prior to and after his super bowl runs, but he didn't win those.
Whatever ESPN is paying you Booger, I say double it, you're worth every penny.
I hate absolutely all of your posts. You are a horrible addition to the site.
Last year all his receivers were lost to injury and his rookie TE was as much a liability as he was an asset. Oh--and his OL sucked. Tom Brady wouldn't've managed any more victories out of that team than Eli did.
This year we have a new offense and lots of moving parts along the OL, putting him in a situation that highlights the weaknesses to his game rather than the strengths. That's neither his fault nor Shurmur's, it's just the current reality that the team faces.
Eli has his limitations and he may not be part of the solution going forward, but he is also not the problem. If he were piloting the Rams or Chiefs offense this year, the conversation wouldn't be about replacing him, it would be about Super Bowls and the Hall of Fame.
That is unacceptable from a paid professional working on the only game of the the day (night). You would think he would have been better prepared than that.
Booger is just that....

when did we vote him in? I missed that fraternity pledge thing
The problem was getting it wrong about Eli’s overall playoff appearances record. That sounded very unprepared. But it got corrected, which was good.
The larger problem is the dynamics of this broadcast team. I think they are laughably bad. They commit a huge sin by never letting the game breath. Someone is always saying something. They make Captain Obvious look insightful.

Excellent post Milton.

He was money in the 2016 playoff game vs the Packers in Green Bay. He wasn't the reason they lost that game. And that wasn't ages ago, it was less than two years ago.

+1 Also there is the forgotten 2008 season when he was QBing the best team in football through 12 games then Plax decides to shoot himself.
I was happy to hear Witten disagree with him there.
I hope not.
Eli is in. End of story.

LOL, seriously with this? Lets stop comparing Eli to the GOAT please. Its an embarrassing look.
That should leave a mark, but I'm guessing it will go right over the target's head.
Steve Young 8
Dan Marino 8
Thanks Booger.
People are funny.
Ha, exactly. I watch it on mute, partially due to the fact that my 4 year old is the lightest sleeper on the planet, and also due to how horrendous this MNF announcing crew is.
How do you know what he meant to say? Maybe he said exactly what he wanted but was just mistaken.
If I remember right he was corrected by the other guys and accepted their correction without saying anything like " that's what I meant".
Its a nickname like Magic Johnson his real name is Anthony

Yeah, how did the GOAT look last Sun when he got his ass kicked? Tough to perform when you're on your back, F Brady!

After 6 consecutive wins, the GOAT was beat by a hot Titans team and is a paltry 7-3 now. He's played 4+ games without Edelman, Gronk has missed over a month, and Sony Michel missed 3 games. They went and acquired Josh Gordon after Chris Hogan was a complete bust at the position, and despite reports of Gordon showing up late to meetings, limited in practices all year with hammy and other issues - Brady is making him look like vintage Flash out there.
Again, this isnt a knock on Eli... but lets stop playing make believe that Brady wouldnt win games with this roster. Of course he fucking would... he's the best QB this game has ever seen.
Would you willingly sit next to a guy named Booger?

That’s total BS and a knock on Eli, when you get knocked on your ass in less than two secs you’re not gonna accomplish much, like scoring only 10 points against the Titans. Same as the two SB s when he scored 14 and 17 points and lost. So he may be the goat but don’t try and sell me he would have won with this team is total crap.. Like he is some kind of miracle worker and would magically buy time, he is no more mobile than Eli. So save that Brady worship for a Pats site.
