Has dislocated foot, only moderate ligament damage. No surgery required, will begin rehab immediately, expected back sometime this season. Phew!

He could be back in 8-12 weeks (mid-Jan to mid-Feb.). That’s incredible. What a terrific bit of news for the young man.

he really dodged a more serious injury that could have severely impacted his career. Good player for the Nets. Maybe they're finally beating the bad luck bug.
terrific news for him

It looked pretty horrific, I was thinking it was Gordon Hayward Pt 2. I'm happy as a Net fan, but happier for Caris. By all accounts, he's worked his ass off to get better.

BUT, the guy can't stay healthy. He missed half of both his junior and senior seasons at Michigan. He missed a third of his rookie season. He will now miss probably 2/3 of this season. He seems to be one of the guys that will never realize his potential due to injuries.

His college injury was fixed- hasn’t been an issue
This was a freak injury— the comment is wrong-
The foot was fixed just like Lopez and Durant’s feet were fixed and not an issue since
