Wondering if what jags pay him reduces Giants cap liabilit to him. Does nothing for us for this year, but if an extra couple hundred grand carries over to next year, it would be more than he contributed to help the team this year. Anyone know?
It's peculiar, isn't it? TC comes from offense, so that's especially odd.
As for the excessive injuries, I wonder if TC's "all in"/"throw your heart over the wall" mentality encourages players to play with reckless abandon that isn't sustainable in the NFL, because their bodies break down. Is it possible to be too good a motivator?
But I have no solid information, I'm just a fan trying to figure this out.
Present line situation aside, the Jags are in a sticky cap situation, have very little depth at the skill positions, have a running back who is constantly banged up, and might not have a quarterback.
with Linder now out. Probably not likely but he is a very smart guy.
I really wish he could have worked out better with the Giants. If he could have played LG, and the Giants had drafted a RT instead of Hernandez, oh well.

Hernandez is an incalculably better long-term investment for the New York Giants.
For the life of me I can't understand the jackass mentality of the morons who like to attack Tom Coughlin, a coach who brought you TWO SB trophies. It's just such a pathetic what have you done for me lately insult that it makes me want to puke.

Didn't watch that game, but:
A sack and 7 pressures allowed, 2 penalties, a PFF grade of 49.7.

Please look at Giants Offensive rankings under TC.. I think you will be surprised..

Good lord, he is still awful, thanks for the info.
Unreal that he duped us into drafting him so high.

Morbid offense? Under TC?
No... He's listed as a free agent
When it comes to building a roster and coaching, anyone with a brain would take TC over the dreck we've had since he left.

Good to see that Flowers hasn't lost his consistency.

Sounds like he is improving a bit. Knew this would come back to bite us...

Omameh was not the future at any position.
Go ahead with your attacks, I don't care.
