Hello all! Don't post often, but was just curious from those here "in the know", is there info regarding what the strength of the middle rounds of this draft? I know there are a bunch of highly rated defensive line / corner backs that are slated 1st/2nd round, but since we have a bunch of 4th/5th round picks was curious of any names / players to watch for. I say this admittedly with very little knowledge of this year's draft eligible players, but with the hope of catching some end of season / early bowl games with a little wishful thinking. Many thanks!
I would like to see a raw but talented OT drafted with one of the 4th or 5th round picks. Someone to groom behind Solder to hopefully take over for him in 2 years. They could find a solid NT as well.
This draft is very top heavy on both sides of the line, but that doesn't mean that talent is multiple rounds deep...
Giants don't have a 3rd. So presuming you would be making a trade with multiple 4ths and 5ths to get a 3rd, or move down in the 1st or 2nd to pick up a 3rd.
Well there is your CB pick for the draft, coming fresh off shoulder surgery!

Interior linemen especially centers. If we keep most of our picks maybe getting a RT in rd 2 and 2 centers in rd 4-5. We will likely have 3 4th and 2 5 rd picks.

This is a great concept but I worry that we drafted two left tackles in the 1st round and weren't able to 'develop' them. Its just being gun shy I guess. I also see that Bisnowaty pick where we gave up a 7th rounder to get him in the 6th only to have him start the year on the practice squad and gone in a year....

Well hopefully the new GM and coaching staff will be better at finding and developing offensive linemen.
