Does it bother anyone else the "trend" where players wear a longer shirt outside of their pants? It isn't just unique to Shep and our WRs. It has been "trending" around the league. It seems a few years ago, players were fined for uniform violations (sock not being pulled up). It just looks sloppy and a lack of attention to detail and pride in the uniform. I wonder if the Giants can enforce a uniform policy? When Coughlin came here, there were stories where he would fine players if there socks were pulled up in meetings. I like the strong discipline and it seems our standards are slipping.
thanks for posting it. Love at the end when Goodwin said he wanted to see him in a 49ers uniform and Shep basically said not with the way you guys are playing.

Not what he was referring to. Shep went to OU, Goodwin went to Texas. He was referring to "burnt orange"....Texas' jersey. It was some college trash talk.
Shephard looks like he just really loves to play the game. He had that meltdown earlier this year, but he is just a really great player for us.

Sounds stupid. I care more about attention to detail on the field and watching film. Shepard’s shirt is irrelevant.
They refer to themselves by the numbers. Saquon vs the Skins talked to himself like “keep your feet 2-6...” and Shep did it here “come on 8-7.”
It shows how the players are stripped of humanity, they have been dehumanized to where even in their own consciousness, they cannot help but see themselves as just numbers, mere cogs in the great machines that are the NFL and NCAA.
Just kidding. It just sounds cool I guess.
I can’t root for us to lose and after watching that it’s Â
even more evident to me why. These athletes work hard and the desire to win is so strong that a fan rooting against one’s own team is just so wrong.
These guys are professionals for a reason. They bust their asses, they want to win. I'm sure losing bothers them more than it bothers us. I love how at the end even Eli is pumped up.

He'll eat those words when the QB situation changes next year for both teams.

I don't mind the EZ celebrations within reason. Running hurdles in homage to your mother? Awesome. Doing the MJ Thriller? Cool. Lifting your leg like a peeing dog? He deserves the criticism. Do I prefer that the ball is just handed to a referee? Absolutely.
By the way, the defensive group posing is ridiculous on a 2-7 team. If they were locking down the competition game after game then they would have reason to celebrate. Getting their shit pushed in for a season and half and then posing after a single INT is just drawing attention themselves.
Been a shitty year, but Shep, Saquon and Odell are still battling out there. Getting that W meant a lot to those guys.
Great stuff.
Much better than the SF TE mic's up. They'd cut to it Monday night and he'd be completely silent. LOL Um, maybe mic up a different guy??? :)

Haha, this reminds me a little of one of my all-time favorite videos from The Onion
Pre-Game Coin Toss Makes Jaguars Realize Randomness Of Life - ( New Window )
