He was on Sirius last night and said their locker room is tight because the year before last they started bringing in guys who are focused, ambitious, self-motivated, and team- oriented. "All the cliches, but those guys are out there".
Agree with those who point out that signings like Stewart and Solder haven't returned DG value for his money from snap to whistle, but listening to Hicks talk reminded me that so many around here and in the NYG fan universe completely dismiss the importance of building a strong locker room.
Shepard post-game showed a lot, too.
I expect better from him moving forward and think he will be part of a good OL here.
Serious question: How do you know that?
Because they're not good doesn't mean his efforts have been poor, or even wasted. A few of those guys, could be "the guys." Might take a bit. Pulley? Brown? Never know.
They have done a lot right lately in getting players.
Yeah... Apple, Jenkins, Cromartie, JPP, Flowers, Hart, OBJ... nothing but team first guys in this locker room.

For years, we've sacrificed by selecting character and team captains over pure talent... look where we are now.

Those are the exceptions, not the rule.
You're part of the 'so many'. Congrats.
