is his leadership that important that they will take a roster spot away from a young player with upside not to mention taking carries away from Gallman.
and 1 is penny. its proabably cheapest just to activate the guy qith guarenteed money already on the books. He gets paud either way let him take some of the hits
Why do you guys hate stewart so much? Wtf lol... boooooooooo? That’s how you feel about a veteran rb that can get the tough yards returning from injury? Why? Because he might make one million more than you think he should make? Fucking weird.
But it was preseason, and you guys went fucking ape shit. Then he averages 4 ypc in limited time vs Jax. Two shitty carries in the ugly game at dallas, then goes back to 4 ypc vs Houston. So he was playing better than you all perceived him to be in preseason. But you still hate him.
Cool.
Just 8 months ago, the Jonathan Stewart signing was praised Â
by many on BBI in that we added a veteran RB who could solve the Giants short yardage/goal line woes AND be a solid lockerroom presence for a team lacking leadership.
Several even commented that the deal was fairly inexpensive in the overall scheme of things and that it was smart to add to the RB depth chart before the draft Disregard the fact that the 31 year Stewart was in a free-fall decline and had a market value equal to a blackberry device.
Stewart got a charitable gift from an old GM who fell down and hit his head on the ground walking into the office on the first day of free agency.
Anybody want to fall on their sword before I search the archives...

He got Darkwa dollars. Nice to see you're saying the same thing again.
It amazes me that so many Giant fans know Stewart is over the hill way before the people who run the team get the message.
However Gettleman, who's made some good moves, just cannot see the facts here & probably still views him as the player he once was.
We are all human and find it difficult to be objective. I hope though Shurmur does not insert Stewart in a crucial must-get 3 yards play.
Monday night's win showed we got too complacent.
Cool.

I feel like Gettleman is so old school he probably thinks he can give Stewart a stern talking to and he'll be able to run faster.
LOL
OK, you guys are killing me!
