Lol, yup. My favorite was when Davis jumped on top of a Knick (with his back turned) on an alley oop earlier in the game. They gave him the bucket AND a foul. This brand of NBA basketball is really hard to watch.
Knox doesn't play defense aggressively enough to have four fouls midway through the third quarter. Garbage officiating. Too bad because one of those Summer League hot streaks was brewing.
I hope his percentage remains respectable going forward. If it does though, he and THjr have to stop with their heat checks after they make a few shots. Heat checks drive me nuts.
I like that they moved Frank off of the ball and put Burke back in the rotation. It's almost like Fiz reads BBI. Though I'd have played Mario and left Kanter on the Bench, but I know that'll never happen.
Robinson is fun to watch. I definitely prefer his style over Kanter's but never thought he'd overtake him so quickly. Not completely embarrassing himself against AD is not something I would have expected after watching summer league. Mitch still needs to build strength, polish his offensive game, and catch and hold onto the ball better, but he's proving people wrong who thought he was too raw for nba level games.

I haven't seen it with Mario. Kanter is who he is but you get a certain amount of production from him. Plus, you need big men. The Knicks need another big man badly right now, and someone meeting KP's description would really fill the bill. Will be interesting to see what happens if/when KP returns this year.
Kanter doesn’t play better D they desperately could have used his rebounding down the stretch. They gave up far too many second chance baskets and it killed them.
Yep, I am paying attention every few days to that site but we are 2 ahead in the win column. That is tough to overcome. I'm also assuming there is no difference between the bottom three teams in terms of chances of getting the top pick so we are almost there.
Also, you guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment. KP is going to come back and play some games. I’d guess he’s gonna play somewhere around 30-35 games. We are probably gonna win some of those. We will prob end up with like the 6th/7th worst record, IMO.
Garland looks impressive, but probably a tier below the Â
elite PG prospects like Wall and Rose. Doesn’t mean he won’t be more of a winning player, but skill/explosiveness-wise he’s closer to Lillard/Walker.
At least point we are still bad enough that we have to draft the BPA regardless of position. This just might be our lucky year and we get our hands on Zion.
like to shit on Burke. Look at his offensive numbers last year great shooting percent and great assist to turnover rate. What else do you want off the bench?

This. On the surface, tanking for a higher pick sounds great. The problem is if KP does indeed come back and they still end up with a top 3 pick, that likely means that the young guys, including KP, haven’t developed the way we hope they will. In real time as these games are playing out, if they are still getting their asses kicked when KP comes back, it’s not going to be as easy to stomach as people think. Great, we have a top pick. But we would have to be very worried about the rest of this team moving forward.

He should sack up and adopt the granny style.

Can KP be that type of player? I"m not sure he's that good. But we could have used him tonight.
Score one for the tank!
For sure. He may be the best player in the league.

his role last night was perfect
