Also, you guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment. KP is going to come back and play some games. Id guess hes gonna play somewhere around 30-35 games. We are probably gonna win some of those. We will prob end up with like the 6th/7th worst record, IMO.
This. On the surface, tanking for a higher pick sounds great. The problem is if KP does indeed come back and they still end up with a top 3 pick, that likely means that the young guys, including KP, havent developed the way we hope they will. In real time as these games are playing out, if they are still getting their asses kicked when KP comes back, its not going to be as easy to stomach as people think. Great, we have a top pick. But we would have to be very worried about the rest of this team moving forward.
not necassarily, you have to learn how to win in this league, even kp still has to learn how to be a closer. you cant just dump the ball to him and say go to work yet.

I dont think KP coming back is going to make much of a difference on the W/L for this year. Hes not going to be himself right away, hes going to have rust to work through and will most likely start on a minutes restriction.
Even if KP plays 35 games, this is probably only 25 win team this year. The only teams that are locks to have a worse record at the end of the year are Atlanta, Phoenix and Cleveland. The Knicks will probably be neck and neck with the Bulls for the 4th/5th spot.

And end up picking like 7th after the ping pong balls are drawn!
Under the new lottery rules, the team with the worst record has a 14 percent chance of picking first and a 48 percent chance of picking 5th. In other words, Knicks fans shouldnt be celebrating every loss for the tank
But that lineup doesnt have the size to finish against a team like the Pelicans. Youre talking Knox at the 4 and three guards. We need another big man in that group. KP would really help even if rusty.

Rose 17/7/5. Just give him the 6th man of the year award now.
This guy really is classless. He also acts like hes won 3 titles and MVPs. Even if hes right about the Minny guys, what leg does he have to stand on? He refused to play games when healthy. I wouldnt give this guy a major contract.

it is a process, even with kp
if you can see trier, robinson, and knox getting better each game that is all you can ask for..
Even though some moron fans are ripping him, him saying he put the rookies back in and told them win or suffer that is what you need..

This is the single greatest description of someone. Every time I see her I think this. Thanks?
Yup. KP in the lineup and wed hsve 2-3-4 more wins. But the tank stops for no one. Tank on. I think.

I remember hearing once that she was a pretty big student track and field athlete in HS and college, I doubt she even smokes.

Same. She's ruined forever for me.
Even if KP were healthy, this is a 35 win team at best.
