Ok dipshits....Im feeling salty AF after that shit show with the Barclay's B-listers. Hank needs to put that one back in his memory like a bout of bad gas at a prom after-party.
I dunno anything about Ryan Strome as a player exceptthat he has a goal and an assist in 19 games. Sounds like a hoot.
Would like to see the Rangers stay on their game with Islanders - Flyers - Caps coming up next week.
He and Spooner have both been useless this year. Both are 2 point players. Basically just a "take our trash and we'll take yours and see if either guy does any better" swap. I don't expect Strome to help much more than Spooner was... which was basically not at all.

I gathered that arc. At the least, Strome was at least a top 5 talent....maybe we can unlock something.
Let's go.
Yeah totally. The puck should never deflect off a defenseman.
And that defenseman should never score a goal.
Send him packing!

B, hear must have hear me. Scored a makeup goal.
They only showed a quick replay without any slow motion but from what I saw I thought it was tripping and I didn't think he took a dive.
Marc Staal looks pretty shot out there. Kreider playing strong. And the 2nd period was vintage Hank, Panthers put pressure on for 20 minutes outside of maybe 2 good shifts for the Rangers, and Hank stonewalled everything.
Enjoy the 3rd period boys, LGR
Seems like a good thing at the time. But just ends up stinking like shit.
Kid Kreider!
I do that trade in a heartbeat, only then you get the privilege of paying Nylander $8M per year.
If you can acquire an elite offensive, 22 year old center, who is good on face-offs and plays defense, you trade Kreider and Skjei IMO.
Would we save money? Nylander is obviously demanding a lot of dough.

Uncle Larry brought up the proposal of Kreider and Skjei for Nylander. I wouldn't do that. Maybe Skjei and like Anderson.

I don't know. Kreider's off to an excellent start. And 8M for Nylander is an awfully lot. Seems like the Leafs are the ones in a hard place. I would do one of Skjei and Krieder, but not both. I'd obviously include one with a lesser piece.
Tavares and Kreider on the same line wouldn't be fair
He should go chill with LeVeon Bell
And I'll caution you to ratchet it down a bit on Strome. I said after his rookie year he'd be an All-Star within his first 3 years (right here on BBI). He was definitely consensus #5 and drafted there, as any team would have. Crushed his OHL squad's points record. I know some of you prolly rolled eyes if you'd seen my comment. I was genuinely excited about him, and I still like him. He got Capuano'd and it hurt his confidence. Shoulda tore it up with good fellow Tronno boy Tavares, right? But no excuse why he didn't flourish in EDM since he had the chance. Always hoped he'd find it. Maybe with you, he does, or he doesn't. My advice is caveat emptor (but I understood it was a financial wash, so I know it's low risk).
...very rough.
As in at least two bad goals.
I was hoping to find a Quinn connection in an amateur career, nope, none, turned pro Canada age ~16.

Kreider + Skjei currently account for $10m in cap hits, and Kreider is a UFA after next season. Turning that into a 22 year old #1 C is a pretty attractive move for a team that believes it’s hit the trough of the rebuild and should soon be on the upswing.
He is such a fundamentals conscious coach, telling players to drive TO the net, not to the side of the net; take the (centering) pass get it to your forehand one timer, don't take the extra backhand to forehand or v.v., play faster, no--place yourself back HERE. It's as if he's still at BU teaching his grasp of the game. It seems to be showing up in the team's play.
Has SNY aired this segment multiple times this season?
As I mentioned after Red Wings and Isles games (sorry for repetition), this is showing up in the PP (much faster, more precise puck movement--and they are getting off shots, unlike the maddening Torts and AV years when the PP would handle the puck forever and not shoot). To my eyes, winning way higher % of faceoffs.
After Isles game, Greg posted a damning list of Gorton's mistakes--undeniable. At least for now, Quinn hire may be one of his ibbgest + moves.
