At 26 yrs old, Beckham is 4th all time in franchise Rec. TDs

Ten Ton Hammer : 11/18/2018 10:20 pm
with 43. (T-4th Frank Gifford)

The leader is Amani Toomer with 54.

Amani played 190 games with the Giants.
Beckham has played 58.

Some perspective through stats in the 94 year history of the club.

Honestly as much as I love Beckham I wish he wasn't 4th all time

And Cruz, Nicks, and Steve Smith didn't have career ending injuries and gave him competition. But awesome stat nonetheless.
If he were drafted by the Steelers or Saints

There wouldn't even be a question who the best WR in NFL history is.

Been a fan since 1956. OBJ is best WR and Barkley best RB in team history.
Trade him!

The giants aren't known for having good receivers. Maybe back in the days of Gifford and Shofner, but after that there was what? Homer Jones and then Toomer. The bar is low, but what he does is impressive nonetheless

Indeed. Kyle Rote, Joe Morrison, and Gifford. Amani was the only player from the modern era until Plaxico, and he's a distant 33 touchdowns.

I have no idea what you are getting at with this.

There are plenty of football people who believe that OBJ is one of the best receivers in the game.
Plaxico is in there
Ten Ton Hammer : 11/18/2018 11:19 pm : link
Side note since today was a milestone.

Burress: 57 games, 3881 yards, 33 touchdowns
Beckham: 57 games, 5356 yards, 43 touchdowns

Honestly can’t believe you left out Brian Alford.

if his health holds up.

Another season and he will be all time team leader
He’s already the second best player in franchise history.

Pair him with a decent QB in the future and he’ll be #1.
What's also amazing about Beckham is that he's only

5'11". Most DBs are taller than he is, yet he seems unstoppable.
Rule changes have helped aid this
Tuckrule : 11/19/2018 5:57 am : link
But he is the best wr to ever wear blue and I doubt in my lifetime I’ll see a wr better than him. His TD yesterday was up there with his best all time. The hand strength to come down with that ball without bringing it into his body was just miraculous.
Not a surprise. Bigger surprise is that more players aren’t ahead of
Ivan15 : 11/19/2018 7:41 am : link
him, considering the long history.

That has more to do with the way the game is played now. 16 games. Pass first. Score quick.

Beckham certainly is the most skilled WR the Giants have ever had. Speed. Quicks. Hands.
