Marinelli is a solid DC, something the Giants lack. Mara & Co need to learn how to get good coaches, it makes a huge difference when you have solid coaching staff. Cowboys defense is not that great, but having a solid DC makes up for that.

Somebody made this point on the recent Bettcher thread and it’s a good one - Marinelli consistently takes a mostly mediocre base of talent and runs a pretty good defense every year.

Why do so many people call football games in the 2nd quarter?
Well so far they have scored zero, they’re not in their dome and they have yet to stop Dallas. This Dallas defense is an attacking style and seems to get stronger with the lead. It’s not like I want to see Dallas win, but the saints are lucky to not be down by more.
