is amazing! Why is he not a starter for some team?
These throws are amazing but there’s a problem ...

He makes them standing up ... to play QB for the Giants, he needs to be either running for his life or on his way down.

LMFAO!!!
I see these type of trick-shot videos around

including on the Dude Perfect videos, which my boys watch religiously.

They must be doctored to some extent?
It takes a lot more
Giant John : 11/30/2018 6:06 pm : link
Than the ability to be an accurate passer to make it as an NFL starting QB.
Lol

Omg I remember this video. I had no idea that was our backup QB.

I could be wrong but I don't think they are doctored... Rather I think they make 1000's of attempts to get the one good shot that we see.
Good..bad or indifferent

Eli is likely QB to start next season...be prepared
Great video

I'm sure any NFL QB could put the same thing together given enough attempts and edits. If those skills translated to NFL ability, I imagine we'd have heard of him before this year.

Thats the bottom line. ELI will be the QB next year no matter who they draft. Unless they make a big move for a QB in trade or FA . Which I doubt. Think his supporting cast improves next year and we will compete then. Another year in getting talent in the draft and FA like last year will put us right there. IMO.
I remember that video too, and I knew in the back of my mind
Del Shofner : 11/30/2018 10:41 pm : link
this was Tanney, having read that recently somewhere.

He's clearly got some throwing talent but as others said he'd have gotten some starts by now if he was the goods.
We should trade him

to the circus...
qb is not the giants #1 problem. the team has too many deficiencies

to turn around with a quick fix. First of all it’s a new coaching staff, a new offense and new defense. Just for the coaches to mesh with themselves and with the players will take time. That’s easily worth 2 or more losses this and next season.
Secondly the units on each squad must learn to interact efficiently with each other and the other units. That’s another 2 losses this and next season.
Thirdly we need impact players all over the defense especially at linebacker and safety. We may have one rookie lb’er who looks good but we need major work in the secondary.
Fourth, our offensive line, which has been correctly ridiculed on BBI needs tackles, certainly a starting RT andbackups, and the middle requires careful evaluation and replacements with studs. Then they all need to work together.
I doubt whether I will be alive next time Giants show well in playoffs, let alone win a super bowl.

Hope everyone has a great Hanukkah, Christmas, and New years. Seriously be well.
