The stadium was nothing to write home about, but it was a good atmosphere for a team that is going nowhere fast. There were a TON of Bears fans, all whom where very nice. And for a Sunday in Northeast, you couldn't ask for better weather. It was misting heading into the stadium, but the rain pretty much stopped by kickoff & the temps were in the high 50s. Wiped off the seats & all was good.
One thing that did piss me off: ending beer sales at halftime. WTF is up with that? I've been to a few Panthers game & they keep serving until the end of the 3rd. Weak job guys. Weak. And, by where we were seated, the beer selections were, to be nice, subpar. Harpoon IPA it was.
Getting out of there was a mess. We tried to get an Uber from the Uber lot, but that was a mess so we ended up going to this Redds place to watch some of the Vikes-Pats before getting an Uber there to head back.
Anyways, it was a good time. Nice to see a win & a fun way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon.
Lol was about to post same thing...
Yeah, the beer sales thing stinks. Bunch of idiots who can't hold their liquor ruining it for everyone.
Ah copy that...makes sense.
I wonder if they were mostly local or traveling from Chicago.
