Trade up to #1 overall...Shock the world and not take the qb. We then trade our #2's and get the 6th pike which we trade and get all our previous picks back!
We then take the player that our Coach wanted all along!!
but we have options. The draft is deep in D-Linemen and ER. I think the only thing we know for sure right now is that Quinnen Williams and Nick Bosa won't be Giants. Everyone else seems to be on the table, including Justin Herbert if he declares, and Jonah Williams, who is extremely sound but doesn't have the desired length and athletic ability teams may want in a blindside protector.
Guys I'd be keeping an eye on are LB Devin White out of LSU, who would be the dominant presence up the middle that we've been lacking. ER Josh Allen of Kentucky, who may be leading the SEC in sacks (can't look it up right now. Getting a cavity filled.). ER Montez Sweat of Mississippi State, who is another extremely productive and big sack artist, with athleticism to boot. FS Deionte Thompson, who could be that ballhawk safety we so need. ER Jachai Polite of Florida, who is another sack artist from the SEC.

would not be shocked if they had access to every QB in the draft without trading up. This is not the draft for QBs.
With all due respect, you and no one else knows that. Patrick Mahomes went 10th, far earlier than anyone thought and it wasn't supposed to be a good draft for QBs. You simply never know and this crop has some decent if not sure fire blue chip guys who could easily be our next QB and he can be had in the top 15.
Because they can probably beat every team left on the schedule. Going to need Shurmur’s coaching to help them drop games
Says the guy who repeatedly claimed that Reese would not get fired. Reese is going no where - ( New Window )
That's unfair. We've all said stuff in the past that in retrospect was way off the mark.
No, it's not. If it was a one off comment, than that is excusable. But rflair and mickey were adamant that Reese and McAdoo would not be fired. It wasn't just a single pronouncement. They stood on the table that they were pounding and announced it with a frequency that if they said it enough, they could get others to believe it.
for 2020 QBs (one more Eli year). That said, they will need multiple 2020 1s/2s/3s to move. I don't think you can move to the 2020 QB area without multiple picks to offer. Will be interesting, even picking 7-14ish 2019.

We cant lose!!!!
They could lose all 4 of these...
- Redskins - Away, always tough. No Alex Smith, maybe a win.
- Titans - Home - They are a tough out and playing for the playoffs.
Colts - Away - Luck is playing lights out, trying to make post-season. No gimmee. A likely loss.
Dallas - Home - Could be playing for division title or first round bye...stadium will be filled with Dallas fans.

Again, like I said they can beat all those teams. None of them are that good. All mediocre
+1 They need an edge rusher in the worst way!

If not White, him too.

OLB Kentucky please

Excellent analysis on both players. If Gettleman doesn't take either player after your lengthy insight into both players, he's nuts. NUTS I SAY!

I'm guessing the Jets would still be ahead of us and we would pick 4th or 5th?
