Tua, Murray, & Haskins. The ceremony is this Saturday, 12/8.
Who ya got? I thought Tua was the frontrunner going into Saturday, but his performance/Murray & Haskins play has probably narrowed the gap.
My guess: Tua with a slight win over Murray. Haskins comes in third.
Tua really just needed a "Tua-like" game in the SEC Champ game to lock it up, but he got hurt and had his worst game of the year.
I think all of the 4th quarters he didn't play in will also hurt him.
It's going to be close.
It'll be Tua or Murray - Haskins will finish 3rd.
Actually I don't believe they were. I heard during one of the games Saturday that only 10% of the votes had been turned in as of then. They said it was the lowest % in years for votes not to have been turned in yet.
Seems like a lot of voters wanted to watch Saturday's games before casting their ballots.
Not a Haskins fan, but he put up some serious production.
He's been on fire the last six weeks.
Haskins - Passing 4,580 yds - 47 TDS - 8 Ints - 70.2% comp - 175.8 Rating / Rushing 172 yds 4 TDS
Tua Passing 3,353 yds - 37 TDs - 2 Ints - 67.7% comp - 175.0 rating / rushing 190 yds 5 TDs
Murray Passing 4,053 yds - 40 TDs - 7 Ints - 70.9% comp - 205? rating / rushing 892 yds - 11 TDs

Murray's #s are out of this world with his rushing stats. He's average 7.3 YPC, too.
I think getting hurt Saturday, and being rescued by Hurts, may hurt (no pun intended) Tua. Murray avenged the Sonners' loss to TX in style earlier in the afternoon. So he had some momentum...
Because it's assumed he is playing baseball. Was drafted in the top ten last summer by the A's.

Is Murray not eligible for the draft this year? I never hear his name.

Murray got a $4.5M+ signing bonus from the A's and they seem to want to fast-track him. His agent is Scott Lucifer Boras. So baseball seems fairly set.
However, he hasn't totally ruled the NFL out. He has publicly stated that he's going to think about it once the season ends.
If he was 4 inches taller, he'd easily be the #1 QB in this draft. He's got a great arm, he can improvise, he's smart, and he can run. And I believe his pop played football back in the '80s for A&M, so there is pedigree there. If he were to change his mind, I'm guessing he'd be a second round prospect - best case...
