how do we stop AP, which we couldn't do last time either. If they can run the ball Sanchez can be very effective. He's not a rookie anymore and has been a starter in this league. Our Defense is not there yet IMO. Saying that however, we have not yet won a Division game. I think there's plenty of motivation, but can the Defense get the job done this week?
To lose to Sanchez would be the ultimate slap in the face....
Another win and we are out of the top 10.....but, the draft is a crap shoot after the first couple of picks, unless everyone else screws up and another "OBj player" is just sitting there...

I think you are right about being worried about AP more than Sanchez. That said, try to contain AP. Make Sanchez have to throw. Its all we have at this point. I'm hoping their line is beat up enough that we have a better shot at slowing down AP and getting in Sanchez's face.
If the Giants cannot beat a depleted and demoralized Washington team that is playing with its 3rd string QB, then the Giants are far worse than I thought.
This should be Giants by 14 points.
I also think that with the exception of the Dallas game the Giants should be favored.
and they are going to finish the season somewhere around 6-10. Wherever that lands them in the draft, it does. But in that scenario, if you want to look at the Giants responding under Shurmur, after a 1-7 start, they would finish the season 5-3.
RE: RE: Dumb idea to take the Giants in a survivor pool Â
That when I got to work yesterday I looked at my buddy and said, that Green Bay/AZ game is exactly why I never make wild "sure thing" type bets. If I ever would have taken them to win a game, it was last week by a country mile. In Lambo, depleted Cards team, Pack desperate for a win. Man that game makes me cringe.
lost their starting guard to a torn pec that they signed in November to replace the ambulatory starters. They will have to settle to scrounge some slob sitting on his couch to open holes for AP and to protect the Sanchize.
Adrian Peterson running wild is the only way they can lose. This team has been decimated by injury and are ready to phone it in. But historically this is the kind of team the Giants usually help back up off the mat.
This will be a good test to see how this team is developing. Can they step on a team they should beat?
Sanchez being labeled as an incompetent buffoon is not fair- Â

I expect that the Giants will be 7-9 or 8-8.
Can't see more than one more win and this is probably it.

Like we are going to end up winning 6 or even 7 games. Although 6 is more likely. I do think they will beat the Titans or the Colts, but not too certain they will beat both, although if they did win this week, and then beat the Titans, you really think that they would lose to the Colts? Hard to admit that this team is improving after such a frustrating season. An optimist could argue we would be 7-5 if the refs were not so putrid.
Amazing the similarities to this season and 2013 beating backup QBs. And there is a chance the giants face another one next week Mariota is coming into this weeks game questionable he’s been hurt a lot this year

We got Beckham in that draft. We get a player of that level and it will be worth it.
I took Green Bay last week...........
He is not a pinpoint QB....

This week? I actually think they are a reasonably safe bet to win.

Now watch the Giants lose to them.
Incredible, but true.
He looked as if he was trying to "will" his body to do things it's not capable of.....like his hair was on fire.

You're kidding, right?
The Jets defense and running game carried those teams that Sanchez "got" to consecutive AFC title games.
In other words, he was a passenger.
At his best, he barely sniffs mediocre.
And obviously let Sanchez run a few QB sneaks.
Lol... yea... brilliant idea
